Havoc covenant

I am a currently r37 venthyr havoc mainly doing raiding. I find myself keeping looking at Night Fae or Kyrian as Sinful Brand feels rather underwhelming to use. And sure meta have an aoe interaction with Sinful Brand, but you can only make use of it every 4 mins.

The NF the Hunt seem like a much better ability for single target, able to dot a whole line, and having a selfheal inbuilt. And comming with strong soulbinds.

Kyrian however seems mainly tailored for m+ if I understood it right.

I wouldnt consider Kyrian unless you would like to tank (very) high keys aswell.

Night Fae is contending with Sinful Brand very hard while also allowing better PvP access.

Night Fae however only feels good to press with the Mastery Soulbind though, so that might be a problem aswell if you dont like impact.

Kyrian is go to option if you want to focus mainly on m+. If you play game as a whole raid/m+/pvp go with NF. Its a beast in pvp, good ST for raids and pretty good at m+ too. You can spread dot from hunt up to 5 target on hit if they are close to each other and bonus healing also helps you with staying alive in m+ or reducing healers job cause he doesnt need to focus on you so hard.

For example you can combine hunt+eyebeam meta on mobs before 1st boss in mists when they aoe. The same with big red raging dude on DoS.

Charge as utility is also good.

It does roughly the same damage in ST, while providing more survivability. It doesn’t dot the whole line, though, only up to 5 enemies in your path, which makes it worse than Sinful Brand on big packs. It does, however, have a much shorter cooldown, and is not dependent on meta. Overall I would say the hunt is much better.

Or just don’t pick that awful ability. It’s for tanks to get aggro.

I would go Ventyr. First it is literally the best for Havoc. Secondly, it opens an options to easy sleep to the key since the dung of Rev are broken when there is a Ventyr inside.

With NF you are going directly to compete with the rest of the meta: huntars, boomie, mages etc. Look for a niche to get into some keys with covenant adv.

I got lost in my thoughta and forgot to mention it was mainly for tanks.

But yeah overall NF is superior anyway.

You can also spread the NF DoT on any mob not standing in the line by moving or dashing after landing at the target.
