Alright so first off im Venthyr, idk why but my DH just suddenly feels so weak i know theyre not as strong anymore as the were during BFA but even still i find myself nearly always doing the least DPS in Dungeons.
Maybe its my fault or the class just isnt very strong right now i would appreciate if anyone knows something more specific on how strong DHs are rn.
Scaling mostly, right now you’re fighting at a 1st tier sort of without the gear to follow, it’s as if you were questing in heroic / mythic dungeon gear, so yeah you might feel weaker right now, we all do, we lack Legendaries, conduits, Renown & good gear.
Well, this class should not exist in the first place, so it’s completely fine if it underperforms.
If you wanted to top meters in dungeons you should have gone Kyrian.
I end out on top in most dungeon runs as Kyrian Havoc and if you spec Kyrian Vengeance you’ll always be on top.
Venthyr is more single target oriented as DH
I guessed that being kyrian would certainly lead to more overall dps due to the aoe ability i picked venthyr though because i was told venthyr would be the best overall for DH by the guides on icy veins or wowhead.
Night fae is best overall
Kyrian is best dungeon
Venthyr is 2nd best ST
Replys like this one should not exist in the first place go hate something else than wow classes my man
Your class has ruined PvP for 2 expansions. 4 years in a row.
The hatred is well deserved.
Well even though i ve already made some progress with venthyr its not too much since its barely the first week so im guessing i ll switch to kyrian thanks a lot for the help
Perfectly balanced as a things should be. You want mobility? Play dh
You want damage? Play potato class
i ve never been a PvP player so stop complaining under a post about a DH feeling weak in PvE content
What talent build are you running ? So far I didn’t have too much trouble in dungeons even if I am venthyr, pvp is really where the nerfs hitted hard. Not so much in dungeons.
Oh hello again, should I prove how wrong you are in this thread too ?
ehm, what pvp you are talking about ?
Neither did i at the start after barely hitting 60 but once i got into heroics or even mythics to some extent i realized i was beginning to find myself down on the dps meter
Also i tried several talent build it didnt seem to make much of a difference for me tho
I checked your talents and Idk if that’s the build you went with in your dungeon but it isn’t what I use personnaly. If you are going demonic I would advise you drop demonic appetite, personnaly I prefer fel blade for the fury on demand but blind fury is good too. Glaive tempest does more damage but the extra fury cost plus the use of a gcd makes it harder to take full advantage of furious gaze procs. I would recommend going for the good old first blood+trail of ruins combo. It really reduces the fury cost of doing your rotation and the number of gcd so you can chaos strike as much as possible during eyes of rage.
Otherwise you can also go for the momentum build which does pretty good too, but is much harder to play.
I think marchenuit said the most important things already. I found myself low on meters too, once gaining gear i easily catch up with friends playing mages, retri and so on. Depends on the fight but I think overall havoc still does a decent job
If you need more information just let me know if I can help you!
Had the wrong character as alias, i like to play glaive tempest or whatever it’s called in English better to play. So if you want to copy talents now you can see them (it’s the standard demonic build by most sites)
Says the class that has never been bad
Yes we were! There was one time we were so weak I came last on the meters. It was AWFUL! It lasted for a whole MORNING!
Owait. Was that the day I left my fishing pole equipped? Sorry. Nvm.
