Havoc DH gonna be the most squishy class ever created in world of warcraft

Blur a 1 minute CD instead of the 40 seconds
Darkness 20% instead of the 70%
Darkness back to 5 min cd
Ofc no dodge on blade dance
4% magic reduction instead of 21%

Are they serious or it’s a prank?

It seems Blizzard thinks mobility from fel rush is the best thing ever and enough to compensate for no defensives as a melee class.

in PVP Dh won’t survive more than a second, they will be the first kill target everygame.

i highly doubt we can even survive a small xp mob.

In Dragonflight you’ll have:

Blur
Darkness
Netherwalk
Demonic Appetite
Leech
2 Stuns
1 Incap
1 Aoe Silence
1 AoE Disorient

with the possiblity of

Glimpse (PvP talent to completly negate CC)
Rain From Above (to fly away from safety vs some melees)

aswell as still Fodder to the Flame

and a similiar Legion-ish ranged damage build with Glaive Tempest, Soulrend, Rain From Above

versus now Shadowlands:

Blur
Darkness
Netherwalk OR Leech
2 Stuns
1 Incap

Glimpse
Rain from Above

and Fodder.

Darkness is still 50% (only in PvP) 3 minute with the linked node choice so essentially you end up far more tanky than before in trade off of 18% passive magic reduction.

Edit: Forgot to mention you can have The Hunt now too all the time. Thats even more selfhealing ontop of it.

how do you know that dh will be squishy if there is no pvp beta?
we dont have numbers and i doubt that they give another season where you press cds and die through
and yes we dont need blade dance dodge

I hope they reduce blur cd to 45 seconds. It’s nice that we will have netherwalk and darkness, but those are long cds. Soul rending is ok only in certain situations (open world, maybe bgs and m+), for example now in the arena it is almost useless considering that every class has a strong burst and some can wipe you in 2 seconds. The hunt is primarily an offensive ability, while fodder is rng. Not to mention that opponents often don’t even need to use offensive cds to kill a dh, often just a stun is enough.
