I am 182 in ilvl and I feel like even if doing my full burst on a stunned ennemy I do tickle damage, while I see NF dh doing above 10k crits with the Hunt. I don’t mind not having the most optimal covenant, I am not looking to get gladiator or something, just have some fun in random and rated bgs but it feels like playing havoc without the Hunt is just gimping yourself even at more casual levels of pvp.
The only weakness of the Venthyr covenant is that it can be dispelled, nonetheless, I feel that Venthyr could potentially be good with Affli/sp/frost in 3s. You definitely have less damage, but consistent pressure. Anyway, let’s wait for week 3 and see how both will perform on arenas. As for BGs, just spend time in mass fighting to get profit from your covenant.
But Hunt is hella fun to press and do 15k+:)))
I hope they make it at least baseline after Sl, good use a few more buttons
