HC servers full of bots

Stiches finally reached Era servers in terms of bots. While you still can report and even ban chinese horde bots in open world, Dire Maul is full of russian flyhacking herb bots that walk out for 5 seconds every two minutes.
On top of that, since Act-Blizz has fired all remining game masters long time ago, last patch finally removed such useless feature as “reporting bot from /who”.
No reports - no bots. Problem solved.

Players need bots so that they can even have the opportunity to raid. As a wageslave you don’t have time to play wow like you should. At some point you don’t feel like turning on your PC all day anymore because you’re going to die anyway.

How hard is it to implement a captcha-like minigame on mining/herb nodes ffs. It’s 2023, this thing shouldn’t even be talked about by now. Are we gonna be opening the same threads in 2043 too?

Nice, then the game is not for you, play something else. Your personal situation doesn’t justify bots. Most people would like an actual working economy in an MMORPG, not pisslow prices on everything.

Our personal situation? Do you rly think we are a wage slave?

Then what point are you trying to make? Be clearer.

Your argumentation is wrong. Bots are the biggest reason why normies cant keep up with ingame inflation, they both create gold mass and grind materials to sell. Therefore, average player with 2h play time after work simply swipes his credit card, instead of spending gold from quests and ingame activities. We’ve been over it for 4 years now.

You can also play wow without an auction house.
Relying on the price at the auction house isn’t so smart anyway.
The greed has become incredibly great.
It doesn’t matter to people whether the price is justified, they want the most they can get.

On Nek’rosh, petris sell for ~80g.
This has nothing to do with bots, but with our greed.

Brother, you can’t play classic wow without auction house, at least if you are going to get any kind of profession.

Supply and demand, 80g is not that much on level 60, and you don’t use petri every day.

Is an excuse for being greedy.

That is the most Returned comment I have ever read.

“Well, we need heavy crime in the world for the cops to have something to do, so its good they slice ppl and whatever you can think about becuase otherwise it would be bad for the cops.”

Thats make no sense right?

More like, “we need more immigrants since the native people do not want to work minimum wage jobs.”

Most people don’t have the time to farm for the equivalent of 5 cents an hour. AH would be empty if the boomer player base had to farm the materials.

Then its the wrong game for that person, you should not engourage cheating in game becuase it makes it easier for you.

… and have netither friend nor family.

Brother you are not worth replying to

Without the bots it wouldn’t be 5 cents an hour, or you can just increase the yield of the nodes, so nothing changes. Stop with this “we need bots” argument, it’s stupid af no matter what angle we look from.

Exactly …

Last night a bot with unreadable suddenly posted 500 Gromsblood in AH out of the blue, now I cant sell my Gromsblood for 2 days now cause he inflated it.

All gold gone to bot, bot gonna sell it to some richboys, richboys gonna be careless on spending and pay extra = prices rise + gold pool become dramatically bigger.

Lmao, I actually did screenshot of that. 29 stacks of 20 gromsblood from a character Gbhvgfh. It is even easier to track gold sellers by Ghost Mushrooms, they are farmed by exact same bots with flyhack, however shrooms are not sold in such amounts, so they keep piling.
Your average DME jump run nets you 0-1 of them, but flying bots farm up to 6 every 10 minutes.

I actually got automated message of one banned bot few hours before SoD release. Now all botters moved there (I know they are not banned, because I can add them to friendlist and they exist offline), however now there is 4 fresh 60 ones - Serncje (24/7 online), Salchevskiy (12+ hours a day online), Rageguts (12+ hours a day online) and last one currently offline. I assume they were bought one used market for cheap, because r*ssian owners moved to SoD or whetever.
