Hello Everyone
Why did we found Lucent (Formerly known as socialites)?
Personally, I have played WoW for a considerable time now. I have failed to stumble across any tightly-knit communities that were open to allow more players into their circle. I am sure most recent wow players are facing the same struggle, as it’s hard for veterans and newer players to generally mingle or form a real bond that which any game content whether raids or dungeons or just enjoying the game altogether just simply dull. I was certain I was not the only one who felt that way, and it wasn’t long before I found out many people were in the same boat as me and loved the idea of being part of a genuine community that cared to create real bonds and genuinely enjoys each other’s company.
Guild’s Vision & Values
Lucent is a Social PVE Guild, to put it in simple words. Our main goal is to build a friendly PVE community. Our central platform is a very organised discord server to help our members easily interact with one another and plan guild activities on a regular basis, sometimes ahead of time for those who have less flexible schedules.
Lucent is a place for Social players, people who simply enjoy the company of others, as much as it will be a haven for players who want to Raid and grind Mythic + Dungeons to their heart’s content within a non-toxic environment who want to challenge their own limits. We strongly believe that integrating both the social and PVE aspects of the game is the only way to maintain a guild that will not die out the moment a GM stops investing all their time and effort into it. But rather its survival will depend upon the community as a whole, who provides its upkeep through their activity.
Together, we aspire to build a community that actively exercises the outlook to manage our community together as a whole, whereas the responsibility of managing the guild and the discord server will be shared equally among the guild’s management team. This is a new guild, and if anything it is work in progress. Whether you wish to take part in building this community or simply be a part of it, look no further!

Raider’s Code of Conduct
Section 1 General Raid Rules
(1) All Guild Rules apply during our raid sessions, make sure you have familiarised yourself with them.
(2) First and foremost, we play together to have fun and genuinely enjoy ourselves. While we must take our progression and raid performance seriously, but not at the cost of our enjoyment. At the end of the day, this is a game, and we are here to have a good time.
(3) Be Punctual, if a raid starts at 20:00, do you best to be there at 20:00 as it is when you are expected to inside the raid-instance and ready to begin.
(4) We all have lives that we need to attend to sometimes, and things can get in the way through of no fault of our own. If these emergencies ever happen during the raids, they will not count negatively against you or be a source of demerit. Please do not abuse this.
(5) If you are unable to make it to a raid, that is okay as long as you make an effort to inform us beforehand for us to make necessary adjustments. Let us know just 1 hour before the raid can be frustrating for everyone as it will hinder our schedule.
(6) Having DBM downloaded is mandatory.
(7) Being on discord during our raids is compulsory, you do not have to speak, but you must listen to the raid leader’s instructions and directions
(8) Although the raid leader thoroughly explains all raid mechanics, it is strongly encouraged to check out guides on the expected fights of our upcoming sessions. The raid leader will post any useful material related to the boss fights in #useful link
(9) Any kind of unconstructive criticism, insults, flaming, toxicity, naming and shaming or uncalled-for-aggression towards any of your teammates is intolerable and will be dealt with strictly and immediately.
Section 2: Active Raiding Rules
(1) Golden Rule of Progress raiding is a long term team effort. Have patience, and be a good team player.
(2) If you feel that you do not completely understand a certain mechanic or why you are doing something, ask. You have nothing to be scared or ashamed of; we are are all learning. It is better you ask and understand the mechanics than quietly struggle and stress yourself out.
(3) Raid leader reserves the right to inspect your gear, essences, and traits and to provide you with feedback on what changes to make. Unless your performance is lackluster, you are not obliged to make recommended changes.
(4) If you can provide any constructive feedback, do it privately and kindly, do not announce anyone’s faults to the team as that is embarrassing and will discourage individuals.
(5) We are raiding to have fun together, understandably bantering, and jibber jabbing is expected and encouraged during the trash. Once we get to a boss, however, communication open to the Raider Leader and the Tanks! Do not speak over them, as not to distract others or cause them to miss important instructions.
(6) You are expected to attend with all the appropriate flasks and food for your role/class/spec. If you are unable to obtain them, kindly speak to the Raid Leader or your Role Captain.
(7) Refrain from general negativity and frowning at any failures as it will not get us any further. As irritating as things may get, do your best to control your attitude and be mindful of the general morale of the group.
(8) Raid leader may call off as much as 1 hour earlier based on his assessment of the general morale and performance of the group
(9) Failure is inevitable during progression. Naturally, we can only learn through making mistakes as raiding is a process of trial and error and adjusting performance accordingly. However, being the only one to continuously repeat the exact same mistakes can weight down the group. It is your job and duty to speak up for advice and follow the proper feedback when you are continuously struggling with mechanics every pull.
