Hey, it's just my headcanon.

Why allow enemies of the state inside your borders?

Pilgrimage to the Sunwell seems to be a thing, though?

Yeah, no, all high elves are allowed to visit. Alleria is too, until the whole void incident.

In fact, I'd wager that the only thalassian elves not allowed to make the pilgrimage are the void elves. All others were welcome in Wrath, and remain so to this day.

It was in late-Wrath certainly. It's a little less clear after the Purge in 5.1 and the conflict in 5.2. It may be that the...'increased tension' between the HElves (of the Silver Covenant, at least) and the BElves made Lor'themar rethink his stance.

Pretty much this, aye.

He still lets Alleria visit even though she's come to give him Anduin's spiel, its only when her voidy powers act up around it does he kick her out.

Alleria isn't (wasn't?) Silver Covenant, she wasn't there during the MoP conflict events, and she's a decorated hero of Silvermoon for literally thousands of years. She's very much not a normal HElf.

Could HElves still be allowed to pilgrimage? Sure. They might be allowed but put under heavy guard and watched constantly, but to say "yeah, they were in Wrath therefore they DEFINITELY are still" seems to ignore some pretty heavy context from more recent days. It's up in the air. Hence...headcanon.
Can we all agree to make all Zandalari Troll rpers forced to type with a Ugandan accent from now on?

I will actually die before I do that.

I'll see you in the arena at dawn.

Hey, we need to make them stand out somehow from Generic Horde Troll rp with voodoo and stuff! First step, bad accents!

CHOP HIM!

Also my headcanon is that cross-race relationships are a lot more common in the game than they appear.

DKs have greater physical strength than most living because of the unholy power which infuses them.

Is that really headcanon? Aren't both DKs and DHs noted as being stronger than normal members of their race?

Death Knights can move and fight just as well as they did in life even if they don't have any muscles left (forsaken DKs for example, their knees and elbows) so clearly the unholy power compensates for that entirely.

Given that their muscles also seem to work (no one is going to doubt that a tauren DK is stronger than a human DK), the logical conclusion IMO is that muscles + unholy power = DK is about 2x the physical strength of their living equivalents.

But this varies greatly of course.

Edit: Also yes there's holes in this logic but eh, there's holes in everything in WoW. I try, at least.

Yeah that's pretty much what I think is the case.

THANK YOU.

You worded it waaaaay better then I ever could <3
Something from me;

The reason why blood elves don't seem to have many individual graves, if any, at their graveyards (in QT) is that they are either:

A) Mass graves
or
B) Cenotaphs for those who went missing/died during the Scourge invasion.

Touching on Aerilen's point, here's an actual headcanon of mine: people in the northern reaches of the Eastern Kingdom, likely including the elves, are probably more inclined to burn their dead since the third war.

Not only did they need to remove a lot of dead bodies, likely savaged beyond recognition, but there's always the risk of undeath. So burn the corpses and put up a memorial.
