Headcanon 2: Electric Boogaloo

TBH my headcanon is that Khadgar has bedded just about every important lore figure, man or female and that he is known very well for this trait, but due to his reputation and legendary skills when it comes to love, it is a silent public rumor: Everybody knows about it, but nobody speaks of it (save for dark alleys and corners of pubs or rough diary pages).

And sending the heroes on ridiculous fetch quests was the only way he could have some time alone to... absorb himself in his hobby.

"W-what? You returned already? No, no, no... How about you get me some more crystals. Hurry now!"
TBH my headcanon is that Khadgar has bedded just about every important lore figure, man or female and that he is known very well for this trait,

I mean, come on. He's the literal definition of a silverback charmer.

Depending on interpretation of various quest and npc text throughout WoD it's not even headcanon that Silver Fox favours and grooms you with attention, jokes, food, wine (in nagrand) and gifts (ultimately a ring). It's straight up stated.

My headcanon is that Cordana was already a recepient of these attentions, henche her unprofessional overprotectiveness. Seeing Khadgar's attention shift to a new squeeze, she despairs but keeps a strong face.

Seeing Khadgar's obssession with freeing Garona at any cost (new, pliable toy? While still courting Player?!) Cordana succumbs to her darker urges, using the orb to join the demons in a fit of despair. This love triangle is not elaborated upon beyond Khadgar's sadness to see her go.

This explains the lack of stated motive for her betrayal and seething hatred of the Player in Legion (having stolen her Fox) to the point where she sticks around the warden prison just to fight and kill you.

Khadgar continues his ways with the obvious Modera connection while you're combing the isles for treasure (so far from him) and later low key dumps you by having you fetch coins to gift his... someone! You're so dependable, after all. Player is too busy stopping the Legion to confront him about this but like Cordana, keeps a strong face.

This is why Player abandons Khadgar's dalaran and order hall neutrality in the end, wising up to his ways and taking out their frustrations on the other faction. In retrospect, there were three "savage hallows". Three rings! You were played all along...

Khadgar is a meme.
Aessina is the closest thing Azeroth has to an Elemental Lord of spirit.

Conversely, Bwonsamdi is the closest thing Azeroth has to an Elemental Lord of decay.

My irl Headcanon is that there's someone out there so annoyed with the lack of official model for Azeroth's Titan Spirit, that he/she has gone out their way and given Azeroth the Earth-Chan treatment.
My headcanon is that (based on cities, armies, weapons and so), dwarves are the most powerful in Azeroth currently, with cities impossible to siege, mortars only matched by goblins, tanks, flying machines and then the locations of their bunkers and cities. They've the most control of the northern regions of the Eastern Kingdoms, with Stormpikes, Wildhammers and Bronzebeards essentially surrounding Hillsbrad/Arathi and with the inclusion of the Dark Irons, dwarven lands are bigger than human lands.

Dwarves are also strong (comparably so to orcs), tougher than the average- as it is described that a dwarf can tumble down mountains and remain unhurt, (I swear I read that somewhere but it might be wrong).

But yeah, get with the times, make a dwarf. (Ironcore is recruiting)

My headcanon is that dwarves will silently (loudly) rejoice once Teldrassil burns.

JUSTICE FOR MOLTENSTONE, LADDIE.
I thought it was more that High Elves were allowed to make -a- pilgrimage to see the Sunwell, not that it was open access. Seems a bit daft to constantly allow these Exiles ( Some of whom may be Silver Covenant in mufti) to visit your most treasured source of power, without heavy guard presence. I don't think Quel'danas is a neutral island after all.

On the subject of Quel'danas, my headcanon is that it is where the Aerie is, the Dragonhawk rider headquarters, this mostly stems from the RPG ( Which I know is not canon) which outright stated that fact ( And is where I pinched the name from).
That all of Azeroth's flying mount animals are actually pretty smart, (But cannot talk, no, not even Wyverns, that was RPG stuff) however the quote by Wittgenstein applies "If a Lion could speak, we couldn't understand him"
That Dragonhawks, being Draconic in nature, actually live a long time.

Other Headcanon;
The Nimbly bimbly jumping stuff Sylvanas does is either because she is an elf, or a Hunter, not Undead, suddenly 'Disengage' makes a lot of sense.

Gnomes and Goblins, despite having adapted to a more 'common' system of mathematics, actually think in 'Base eight' terms for mathematics and calculations, rather than 'Base ten' ( our Real world numerical system), based on the fact that they have eight digits on their hands, as opposed to our ten. This is why their technology is sometimes so hard to understand, as it requires an entire different mathematical understanding to replicate, and is -why- at a certain level of Engineering, you must pick Goblin or Gnomish Engineering, this is you learning Base eight maths, to understand the more esoteric engineering schematics those races created.

Hippogryphs, Gryphons and Wyverns at some distant point in the past, shared a common ancestor.

The reason Forsaken can turn Rotbrain after a while is because they do not have the release of sleep, dreams and a dormant mental state whilst the Brain recovers from the days stimuli. As with any organ, if constantly overtested, the brain eventually breaks, therefore smart Forsaken will enter a mentally dormant state similar to sleep to rest their brains, despite not physically needing 'sleep' as such.

Forsaken, apart from the most recently risen, do not actually smell. As in at all. They have done their rotting, and their bodies produce no pheromones, sweat, or any of the other subtle smells that a living creature produces, that we naturally get so used to that we don't notice. The fact that there is this complete antiseptic lack of odour, is what animals and the living can find jarring and unsettling.

There's a few, I've got loads...

I have it in my head that throughout the history of Warcraft, the years in between main events and characters hosted unknown or unmentioned figures who were just as powerful as the current roster of characters currently in the game. Maybe they just didn't have the charisma to be prominent enough? Who knows.

Gold is worth a lot, and a single gold coin is enough to sustain you for a decent length of time with regard to basic living expenses.

Arthas and Jaina had a baby prior to the former's fall from grace but the child was given up for adoption or kept secret (out of wedlock or something idk).

There might be quests that prove this to be true, but otherwise I think there's still a senate in Dalaran separate from the Council of Six. In this senate, prominent magocrats and archmages take seat that the populace elects. Dalaran, being obviously much larger than depicted in-game, is split up into electoral districts (even the Underbelly is represented) and the senate is comprised of various political parties. I imagine partisan pro-faction and anti-neutrality parties would be quite popular in the run up to BfA.

Taxes are high in Dalaran, comparable to the tax rate of Scandinavian countries in our world. This is probably to facilitate its strong emphasis on magical education and research and so that the brightest who come to study there aren't burdened by debt (free fees basically), and I view the Kirin Tor as funding a variety of learning institutes that are unnamed in-game.
I was once accused of thinking of Headcanon when I was sharing a concept for my Zandalari Troll and his self-inflicted Exile.

Essentially he killed the high priest and some other tribesmen of his village, because they wanted to sacrifice a young troll. Seeing something wrong with the whole idea, he suspected Hakkar's influence (From back the ye olde Classic days) and went to town on his tribefellows, carried the troll back and set sail for Kalimdor.

Of course since we don't know what really is going on in Zandalar, all we can go on is that there's some dark blood magic going on in some parts of the continent, so it might have some solid ground based on that.

Oh well, we shall see in BfA the real deal.

Actually I find this plausible, as Ironforge is probably one of the more impressive cities (Not to mention Blackrock Depths, that is also a fairly impressive city-area, albeit not much due to the design), and are essentially city-fortresses with them being in a mountain.

That and as you mentioned, they cover a lot of land so it wouldn't be hard to believe that Dwarves are quite powerful.

All of it sounds legit, and Khadgar is a more magical and less charming James Geralt (The illegitimate son of Bond and Geralt)

It's not even fair anymore how strong the dorfs are. Love it.

This is my headcannon too especially since they are all part of the Feathermane pet family, this also includes the owlcats and the wolfhawks.
Whether it's down to Blizzard's laziness or it's intentional... it's probably the former. But blood/high elves tend to use winged helmets as they provide protection for their ears (as well as looking fancy).
I want to believe that draenei belief in the Light is more of a personal mystery religion than scriptural adherence to dogma. Preaching speaks of following the Light's voice within, guiding you to righteous deeds. Seek it, cultivate it within and grow more in touch with it through life's pursuits.

The Aldor, the very priesthood of Shattrath put emphasis on the individual's obligations and duty to do what's right. Prayer is conducted in a circle, as demonstrated on draenor as a communal effort rather than the typical layout of human churches.

There is no mention of the three virtues, the closest you get being the questing journey of the trials of the naaru as personal trials; Strength, Mercy, Tenacity. And slaying Magtheridon, but at this point killing demons is probably a sacred duty too...

Strength, Mercy, Tenacity. And slaying Magtheridon

Ah, the classical tenets of the draenei ecclesiarchy.
Demons respawn so it can be a semi-regular thing. Like a holiday!

Just being reminded of these tenets brings a tear to my eye..

I remember when I slayed my first Magtheridon.
