Healer addon?

Have asked this before(Long time ago) but did not get any answers.

But what addons are good for Paladin,Priest,Monk and Shaman healers?

I have played the game without any healer addons sonce I started play the game since WOTLK.

Just in general good raid frame addons are ones you can track debuffs properly. It really helps when the frame changes colour depending on the debuff and only if it is dispellable by you.
You want to be able to blacklist things you dont want to see. This is a big plus.
Set up what you do want to see. This includes things like hots, beacon etc.

Some of the most popular addons are vuhdo, grid2 or elvui.
Next to it clique is a very good addon to set binds for spells and macroes.

Yup, that’s what I have used for many years.

weak auras, healbot and/or vuhdo, pick your poison, really.

There’s already some good addons in here. There is none that’s simply better or worse. It’s about finding one that you like and then customizing it in a way that supports your healing.

I spent so many hours setting up my vuhdo, but I really like it now.

It can also help to look at party frame setups from others that play the same class and pay attention to which buffs / debuffs they display. It’s easy to forget some things when first setting it up.

Elvui is a pretty nice addon that skins everything and the raid frames are great. You can get clique for the extra functionality that vuhdo gives if you want a full package that skins everything.

You can also check Wago (website) for profiles made by others for Elvui.

I have always used healbot for every healer class, and recently decursive to make stuff easier to dispel since healbot can be unreliable in that for me. I also use weakauras to see my CDs and some other things like AoE heal effects being active.

I just use mouse over macros with modifiers, along with a unit frame UI addon like Z-perl or Pitbull.

Best one is to use Blizzard raid frames and toggle “show only dispellable debuffs”, then “use raid style party frames” and make one separate profile for dungeons and raids. It’s literally that easy. All this Z-pearl healbot thing is over the top.

Also download the addon called bigdebuffs to make it look nicer.

The normal UI raid frames is horrible to use as a healer though.

Not if you know how to set it up. The only real problem is that it sometimes bugs out.

It doesn’t matter how you set it up. It can’t achieve the functionality addons have.

And what are those?

And you actually have disabled all data from your account. Are you scared that I would make fun of you?

Mine?

I’ve filtered it down to debuffs I want dispelled, not all debuffs that can be dispelled. I don’t need to know that someone procced IS on themselves from a reflect or that the mage ignited himself. It also shows threat levels. It shows if someone is carrying too much corruption rather easy compared to the normal UI, their whole frame will turn red if they do.

I use ElvUI together with Clique for mouse-overs. And additional weakaura’s. Always working on my UI. Currently looking for better ways to track (de)buffs like perseverence, necrotic stacks, ironfur stacks. Probably doable with elvui, but it can be a monster to customize

Also looking for WA-options of not showing some icons with rounded corners.

A UI is always work in progress

I started playing when the game did not have built in raid frames like the current ones yet and I got too used to healbot, so why change it?

So, what can these debuffs be that you don’t want to dispell? Why not just see all of them?

So you play with garbage players? Are you one?

Default addon turns red if someone has aggro.

So again, with who do you play with for this to be neccesary?

I don’t need to see that someone has reflected IS or other spells on themselves.

But it doesn’t show if they’re closing in on threat.

Yeah you need to whitelist the debuffs or rearrange your filters. Takes a bit of time getting your head around it but worth it as Elvui tends to blacklist some important raid debuffs for some reason.
