Healer Loot

Yes i am for real, what you dont understand ?

Mage/warlock/shadow priest who need spell dmg + wont benefit from just healing power + so thast why its their prio for needing. If healer rolls on spell dmg and arguing there is healing, then he is stupid.

You should know whos prio is what. Cloth users cant wear leather/mail,/plate, they dont have choice as other has. Thast why its heir only prio, if they dont need then be my guest and go for it.

You guys dont know your stats. And if you still will arguing that SPELL DMG + has also healing +, then you sre stupit, not Amazing.

Some of my pre raid bis: [Omnicast Boots]; [Briarwood Reed]; [Spritecaster Cape]; [Kentic Amice] . Am I stupid for needing them?
Don’t be obnoxious, we have many overlaping items with mages and warlocks.

Not every slot has a +healing item for pre-raid BIS. Not even close, actually.

So yes, healing priests are going to need on spell damage items and you’re gonna have to accept it. To think they should have lesser prio is frankly ridiculous.

All I hear is “its my bis, I dont care its your bis… you are such an arrogant prick” boohoo.

Armor types mean close to nothing in vanilla. Healers “dont get to chose” from a larger variety of items as freely as you may think.

With this aproach, you leaving dmg caster only with their TIERs sets.
They cant choose from other types of armor as you can, or others can.
Same goes for spell dmg vs healing power.

So in my opinion if you need as paladin for spell dmg while you have in group some1 who benefits only from spell power, its wrong.

15 years ago i had one of top 3 paladin on realm. Never had anything spell dmg + , only healing power. I made guide in our old forum for any new paladin who wanted to join guild what gear they can take pre raid and where. It was gear made of Healing + only and it was more then enough to fill place in raid.

Ofcourse its up toy our guild rules how you want to solve this.

I see raid BiS Azuresong mageblade for paladin.
In my guild there is zero chance paladin win this if mage, lock need it.

When spell dmg casters have it, or dont need it? you are free to need on it.
Basically ppl should talk to each other in party.

  • be humble and be able to accept the fact, that other classes can benefit only from their main stats, not from others as other classes can.

Absolutly everything I wanna roll need on, a hunter and/or a dps warrior also rolls need on. I’ve never been in a group where they said “hey rogue, Im gonna pass this leather armor to you, since I can wear Mail/plate”.
Doubt this will be a thing.

Paladins can’t use Staff of Dominance. So in this case it’s the casters that get to chose.

And there is nothing wrong with it.

No, you only get prio on your tier sets. You can still roll on these items, it’s just that god forbid other people can roll for it too

Trolls frol 2004?

I could swear people from 2004 know EXACTLY how these need/greed work for cloth/leather/mail/plate wearers…

Imho its the 2019 toons that yell “DONT TOUCH MY GEAR” alltho others can roll on it AND its usable…

Is the 5% drop in stats at 50 for using the wrong armour type in classic?

No, clothadin all the way

We did blacklist him eventually

No it is not.

right so the only drawback for rolling on a cloth item for a holy paladin is the armour, and the vilification of Retail players who don’t know this.

Yes

God forbid people have competition over their bis items lol.

When it comes to loot, I usually dont look at armour type, its stats first, so I don’t have any problem with druids or pals needing on cloth and I don’t think there should be a prio just because they can “wear up” and I don’t. Call me crazy, but imo, it kinda sucks that there’s no good armour and you need to forego your armour type bonuses(especially with pal/plate) just to gather enough stats for healing.
P.S. That’s why I became tailor in the first place. Can do some bis for myself relatively easy and avoid drama in dungeons

If it has + healing its yours.
