I recently got removed from a group on my PALADIN and Priest for not having engineering on these two healers, simply because I don’t have the engineering battle-ress.

I already have it on my shaman, the fact that I’m basically forced to have it on every class that can heal should prove that this is a pain point in the game. I already do not like the idea of having engineering on my shaman, but having to level it on several classes is simply not fun, since I’m locked out of the other professions that I do want.

Either make battle-resses baselines for all healers or make the engineering item useable by everyone, not just engineers.

yeah, i dont think so. im a healer main and noone has ever looked at me the wrong way for not having engineering, ever.

i dont think we should streamline everything because you were removed from two dungeons for god knows what reasons.

weekend starts tomorrow, you re one day too early.

well, i mean, people tend to exaggerate a lot. and why would you go straight to the forums, complaining, just because you ve been kicked twice from dungeons. kinda weird. :woman_shrugging:

Did you really want to be in a group where that was considered a required factor? If it was a +25 I would understand them wanting to min-max, not so much on a +10.

I dont have engineering myself, but everyone else in my m+ team do so i havent bothered :laughing: i did consider it a while though cause bress is handy to have if someone dies.

Unless it is instant, i think it is even more usefull for dps than the healer to have it.

yeah, i main druid healer. but i do play shaman and paladin and priest healer. infact, i pretty much play every healer there is except monk, havent gotten around to level her yet :smile:. i mained monk in legion and priest/druid in bfa.

hearing a healer being kicked for not being engineer is pretty much a first for me. never heard of that one before. even when i wasnt the healer and played dps or tank. never ever was the healer blamed for not having cr.
either we have cr or we dont. if we dont we deal with it accordingly and just run back. if they want people with cr then they either have to invite classes who can naturally cr or ask in advance for someone with engineer cr.

even in our m+ group we have a dk and a warlock who can rez and they usually even rez for me. :joy: so it wouldnt be a problem if i werent a druid or engineer.

oh yeah. i am not claiming it never happened but i highly doubt it happened twice to the same person as it is a really rare occurrance anyways.

It is a bonus to have people in party who have Engineering but I’d never expect someone to be an engi, we do have a Boomie in our group though. So we have the option. However in pugs I don’t expect it.
