in details you can read almost everything and you see what was used and when it was used. So i think you can clearly see the flaws of the gameplay of somebody else. You just have to look into the details
This was about some addon called elitism helper and people implying that āavoidable damage takenā is a direct measure of how well someoneās playing.
As for the 25% 25% thing, people tried to make sense of blizzardās comment for a week and nothing came out of it.
In early cata healing was weak relatively to HP bars and basically nothing would oneshot people. It was a giant mess. People ignored mechanics and healers were constantly out of mana from essentially āreverse-DPSingā peopleās HP bars.
Even playing whack-A-mole with HP bars is more fun than that.

I mean it one shots only from a certain level like 25+ ish? So yes i meanbif u can stop it then it needs to be punished when u didnt, if u cannot then its stupid why its a one shot.
You can change its setting so that only you see the output. I think it was ā/eh selfā. When you type /eh, it shows you all the options.
Thereās also an Elitism plugin for Details that shows the same info within Details.
I think it is. Well, maybe not too much in the topic of healing being awful right now, but on the topic of using logs constructively vs destructively, yes.
I do believe itās relevant that you can tell that someone isnāt doing dispels. I would tell everybody to use their dispels and say why in the open. I wouldnāt call the healer who doesnāt out in the open.
What I would do is this: whisper said healer, saying: āI donāt think youāre using dispel often enough. Damage from debuffs is too high, and we canāt survive. Please use the dispel at ā
I havenāt done Raszageth so i donāt know what to write there, I stopped raiding. You get the idea.
So thatās a direct notice to someone, no pointing and laughing, issue communicated. I tell them what exactly is wrong with their strategy in addition to letting them know thereās a problem and how it is making us wipe.
If anyone wants to point out the problem, they can come to me and Iāll move it on, or if theyāre on very friendly terms say it to them in whisper. No embarrassing people in the open.
Now, if they ignore it, Iāve got benchers. 
Everybody knows it. And if they start linking meters like in your case, Iād also remove them. I think your guild handled it pretty well, and that MD link was obviously toxic.
At the moment inbuilt interface can be set up the way it almost 100% covering functionality of Heal Bot. And it is pretty enough to heal almost everything.
And if more people will rely on native interface ā devs will put more efforts to further interface development.
Now this should be encouraged of course. But in the current state i think no healer wants to get into serious keylevels without at least a couple of improvements on the ingame interface and functionalities.
Blizzardās UI doesnāt remotely support the level of customization needed for frame colors, displaying buffs and tracking CDs/auras to make me feel efficient and comfortable.
Theyāve taken steps thatās true, but without bartender, grid2/vuhdo, and weakauras I wouldnāt be playing this game.

I donāt use heal bot.
With the default UI you have no way of knowing if guardian spirit has procced before itās over and it has a 3 min CD, meaning I might think that itās going to save someone but they die because I didnāt know it has already procced and I didnāt bother prioritizing them because they have GS on them that I think is going to stop them from dying.
With the default UI you canāt really track peopleās CDs.
With the default UI you canāt easily see your ray of hope healing.
And so forth.
I use vuhdo with omnicd in m+. I have customized them to show:
- any debuffs on my partymembers
- I know what colors are what debuffs and therefore I know what I can dispell.
-I know when people press defensive because it shows on the bars. I know the cd of them because it shows next to the bar. - I Can see all of my 8+ hots: rejuv, regrowth, wild growth, adaptive swarm, cenarion ward, lifebloom, effloresence, treants etc.
I use regular party frames in raid because I have been too lazy to fix it. I see:
-Mark of the wild and rejuv. ā
If healing addons of any sort goes, 80% of healers will followā¦
Im having a blast healing this season.
Swapped to Pres in S2 and have been loving it.
I really like the fact we can smash out some dps between healing and enjoy finding the balance of when to dps vs when to heal.
I do understand what you mean with the spikey hp bars and stuff but i like setting up for those moments.
