Greetings all,
I made this character to try the healing part of the game just for fun since most of my gaming life i played DPS. I mainly do PvP, Battlegrounds etc and i not a person to use to many addons, i use the odd PvP addon and the rest is standard Blizzard UI since i think it has been really improved and works just fine for me as DPS but i understand healing is a different game all together.
So just hoping on some feedback on how you guys approach healing, you guys use Blizzard standard raid frames and click target and cast your keybinds or use addons like Vuhdo, Grid etc or mouseover macros?
I use the standard blizzard UI with class colored raid frames.
If you want to learn how to play MW well, watch Mysticall the monk on youtube for guides.
I have a mousover macro for ring of peace, it’s pretty useful.
You need mostly battleground enemies and big debuffs as addons.
Try to craft precognition on your first piece.
I use Healbot Continued, which is a click-casting addon. I like it better than default Blizzard frames because it’s less distracting, and can be made to highlight boxes when buffs are missing or if you need to dispel HoJ or something.
It needs a lot of configuration though, so I’d probably use click casting Blizzard frames + Big Debuffs addon if I were you. It’s just that I’ve used Healbot for so long that it feels native to me and I find the bright opaque Blizzard frames too distracting on my screen.
Also if you are playing Evoker, you should know that Blizzard frames have a bug with click casting where an empowered spell like Spiritbloom will not release when you click the button again. I find this really super annoying but I guess if you don’t play a dragon or click cast empowered spells you wouldn’t care.
