Healing problem

Hello there

Looking for a bit of advice.

Recently I’ve been feeling really weak in my healing. Constantly outhealed by the paladins and priests in my raid guild.

Not really sure what I’m doing wrong.
I think I could be a bit confused on the stat priority now with resto shamans, I was under the assumption it’s still crit > vers > haste > mastery but a lot of shamans I’ve checked out seem to prio vers.
Just looking for some advice really and some helpful hints and tips.
If you look on my armory you can see my gear and stats and talents now, any advice would be appreciated!

Kind regards
Mumfs

Generally crit = vers > mastery > haste for pve content. Vers has a nice added bonus of making you take less dmg and is just more raw healing output+less dmg taken. Haste doesn’t really benefit resto, as it only make you cast a bit faster = going oom faster. Some haste is nice, but it definitely should not be on your prio list imo.

the 20% crit you have is pretty good but you might have too much haste.

Also checking your logs I can see you use healing surge alot which should only be cast when in absolute panic. And your healing rain uptime is kinda low.

anyway shaman hps is the 3rd worst of all healing specs atm so don’t worry about it too much. And hps is not comparable to dps, just make sure everyone is alive

You are currently missing the necrolord meta:
Use riptides, primordial wave, unleash life, and finally healing wave, and all into cloudburst.
primordial wave duplicates the healing wave onto all targets with riptide, so at least three, possibly more, depending on your legendary and tumbling wave procs. The buff from unleash life is duplicated as well.

It needs coordination, so not the best idea when you still struggle with mechanics, but as a good part of the rotation consists of instant casts you can build it up while moving.

It usually puts around 45k into the couldburst, add in a wellspring and you are set.

Best to put some weakauras up to make it easier to access the cooldowns, the 45s on primordial is quite long, which means you have to switch to a different rotation in between.

Checked your logs, compared to mine. On Altimore you have 6 casts of Healing Rain and it gave you 40k healing. I have 22 casts and 340k healing done. Same with Wellspring. You have 6 casts and 40k healed, I have 12 and 250. Too rare casts and wrong timing. So it’s better to waste a cooldown, than not to waste.
So the first thing to improve is to make WAs and be efficient with your minor CDs.

Depending on the content you do.
If you run easy content that is guaranteed farm yeah you can invest in haste.

Crit will give you a chance to have double numbers + will return mana
Vers will guarantee you a bigger overall output + better survivability

Haste will allow you cast spells faster and ofc get OOM faster.

As far as im aware of, its crit/vers.
If you are playing really hard content and progressing atm, you should focus on crit/vers and maybe a tad more vers than crit if you have survivability problems.

I know people that play Rshaman with 0 haste from their gear to get the max efficiency out of their mana pool, but the question is do you really need ALL your mana? Are you OoM and after using a channeling pot?

If you finish a fight + used a pot and still have mana you can get a bit haste, now if you have output issues invest on crit/vers gear only and try it out.
