Healing solo shuffle between 1400-1800 is absolutely horrendous

But if you go 2v2 or 3v3, there’s almost no shot that you’d be on the same rating if you won 3 and lost 3. You’d have gained or lost rating in most cases. I know this, because I’ve lost 3 games in a row and then won 3 games in a row or a mix of 3 losses and 3 wins and went both higher and lower than my starting rating in 2v2, several times. It has been very rare that I end up at the same rating I started at.

Trust issues being most important

So basically you want rating for a draw.

No.

If I won 3 games and lost 3 games in 2v2 I would rarely ever end up at the same rating I started at. Why should this be different for SS? I can lose rating from going 50/50 in 6 games in 2v2, I can also gain rating from it. This should be possible in SS as well. There’s just no point in playing when you’re not able to gain nor lose anything.

So you want the possibility of getting rating and loosing rating for a draw which is how it can work today depending on your MMR/CR and who you face?

Is your biggest enemy then.

They could just make healers play against the whole lobby instead of just the other healer, for rating gains/losses. If I’d win 3 games against people that are 100-150 rating higher than me in 2v2 or 3v3, lost 3 games against them, I would still be net plus after those 6 games. But because those that are that much higher in SS are DPS in almost all cases, I don’t get anything from winning against them, only from winning against the other healer. Because reasons.

I play both roles and honestly yes healers are more affected by MMR than DPS and climbing as healer is more difficult.
But also I lost many games because of healers… you have many specs who depend on the healer more than others like feral or lock or… and if the healer gets chain CCed because he is in bad position or as lock you have healers going the other side of the portal so its either kiting and losing healer or standing in place getting smacked.
Many healers stand in melee range for no reason and get chain CCed then they cry its the same when DPS plays bad then blames healer.

Draws are waste of time… In 2s 3s can draw never happen.

I so love playing DPS.

In the lobby we are: DH, arms warrior & retri. And then an affliction lock.

Healers 3-3 for something they can’t do anything about, lock dies every round. Totally deserved to not get anything for not being able to save the affliction lock from being trained to death every game in a 3 melee lobby, lol.

Yea they could if they enforce one single MMR which means more healers are needed in general or they make it so DPS can also face higher/lower MMR dps. Both most likely would end up with issues.

Which is a reason why 2 melee 2 ranged 2 healers would be better than 3melee - 1 ranged or 3 ranged - 1melee lobbies.
Also hardly doubt everyone played without misplays.

There’s a reason disco priest is top healer in the 1800+ bracket. It carries bad dps, protects them from their own errors and has the easiest healing rotation. Literally the only thing you have to worry about is someone standing in your dome(which has a big obvious animation. Every other healer needs the dps to have an understanding of how their mechanics work to take full advantage of them. Which is shown by number of discos at various levels.

Above 2100 disco begins to fall off hard as dps at that level will have a better idea of what they’re doing, make less errors and better trades. So the other healers become far more effective.

At 2400 it’s all Druids and rets.

Ray of hope, lol.

So many DPS that think they’re dying even though they’re going to be at full hp when it ends and just pops everything they have.

Yea, maybe. Also it’s one (if not the most) of more popular healing specs in general.
Anyway, that was my personal experience. I can switch to holy and get to 2k in couple evenings. I bet I still will not encounter any difficulties with “Everyone leaves, everyone afks, everyone toxic, everyone bad” etc etc.

No, but there is something terrible wrong with healers CR. Check this image

Lose 74 with 6 losses is ok, same MMR

Gain only 44 with 6 wins, while enemy MMR 100 points above, is ridiculous

This also takes the rating into account. If you are 2000 rating with 1300 and win 6-0 against a 1400 MMR player you will gain 0 points.

Since the player in your screenshot had a really bad moment (draw against lower mmr enemy, and then 0-6), the MMR was very surely lower than the rating, and so, to make it simple to understand and avoid details that always trigger unnecessary debates, you can consider that part of the 6-0 was used by the game to “repair” the damage done by the previous two shuffles as they made MMR sink lower than rating, and the rest was given as 44 points.

The MMR works normal for healers too (like, you guys complain getting 44 on a 6-0, yet I have already gotten +30 for a 2-4 on healer… the other guy just had more MMR than me and I had more MMR than rating myself as well) the actual problem comes from the fact that you share the role value with only one other player, and this tends to makes things… unfortunate.

Yeah, past 4 games in a row there’s been a leaver rage quitting.

i dont want to be rude, or rating bash someone

but check these guy´s on check pvp, look at their Healer “xp” and u know why

i dont say, that healer have a easy live in Soloshuffle, i think it is really painfull at a higher rating, cuz of the mmr problem and the fact that dps classes can carry easier the games compared to an healer

but if a healer struggle at 1.4-1.8 in shuffle, i think it´s most likely a skill issue

Yea, nobody (in clean sanity) says that. But these complaints have been just absurd lately.

On the other hand, please try to be understanding: sometimes playing many consecutive shuffles in a row as a healer can trigger one’s nerves… :grimacing:

yeah, i only played a few games as an healer in shuffle, and after one game, when my warri leap away from me,he had only 20% hp left, while i was casting a heal on him and he died because of it, his answer was “helloh heal??? afk?” after this and because of multiple other reasons, i was done with it

what i have noticed, that your team in low rating, dont stop the cc from the enemy healer in many cases, it´s like u can spam clone the oponent healer, no woander why many peoples complain about clone, your shuffle zugzug dps guys dont even try to stop it in low elo
