Hey guys i just wanna say thank you to all the pvp community that for the past two expansions you all fough for the system we have today i still remember when pvp vendors were introduced you all had a vision that at the time i couldnt understand. This expansion i got determined to learn pvp and althought i still hate how blizz displays info of the fights the journey has been amazing, by now i explored a little bit of everything in the game but there is one side missing, pvp healing, the big problem is that during my pvp experience i noticed that healers are usually under tremendous amount of pressure, i was looking for a simpler healer, more forgiving when mistakes are made because pvp on itself is a bit overwhelming, im not too familiar with all healers so i was looking for suggestions.
Do not play HolyPaladin and Resto Druid as a starter.
Disc priest and Preservation Ewoker are newbie friendly. You can use some of your important cds while stunned
Shaman requires your teammates to know about your class, majority won’t have any idea regarding how to play with one.
A middle ground healer is Monk, it is not easy but also not difficult.
What kind of pvp? arenas, bgs or world pvp?
If its just for bgs then i would say holy priest has alot of options for healing. And some good aoe ones.
Ofcourse mindcontrolling people off cliffs is fun as well.
But out in the world or arenas you probably want something able to do a bit of damage as well and with better mobility
if ur new to pvp i wouldnt recommend pres evoker either. making someone who is new to the role and doesnt have all the fundamentals to play a spec with 30 yd range and lives & dies by positioning and whose healing output drops into the ground for long periods of time if you mess up the rotation a bit would not be fun.
to pick up as a beginner, disc and hpala are pretty easy to learn specs. that said hpala is NOT in a very strong spot right now despite their kit.
I wish PVP was like it was back in Vanilla.
Monk looks like a mobile class you think it would be a good choice? i think it could help me to handle if im able to create space.
Arenas 3v3 or what most peope call solo shuffle.
What about monk? I got zero experience as healer pvp, only as dps and im still super new to it.
Pvp from today is very unintuitive and overwhelming.
dont think I would recommend mw monk to anyone. experienced or otherwise. it’s consistently the worst healer class in the game in most expansions and I dont see fistweaving staying as busted as it is currently for long.
then holy priest probably isnt a good idea due to a lack of its mobility and too many casts. Druids always seem to be in high demand for that tho
