Health bar addons

I don’t mind the standard health and target bars but what addons are out there to use instead? I find the standard ones to small I know you can move them about etc but they are just to small!

I’m not sure if you mean the healthbars on the unitframes or on the nameplates.

For unitframes, these are some of the popular ones:

many of them can be heavily customized though, so you can pretty much make it look however you want.

For nameplates, these are some of the popular ones:

Hi,

Thank you, sorry I mean the unit frames, I did try that shadow one and it just blew my mind, and I wasn’t able to increase the size of the actual unit frame, if I could increase the size of the standard unit frame I’d be happy, is this even possible?

I’m not aware of any setting to change the size of -only- the unitframes.

You can change your UI Scale in the wow settings, but that will affect every single UI element. (so your questlog and actionbars and … everything… will resize).

Alternatively, the addon MoveAnything might be able to do what you need:
https://wow.curseforge.com/projects/move-anything

  • Type /move,
  • Scroll down to find the relevant frame (like say “Unit: Player”) in the list. When you unfold “Unit: Player” you see a list of some of its parts, the top one “Player” is the whole player frame which is one of the ones you need.
  • Next to it you’ll see 2 empty checkboxes, enable the first one to get access to a “Mover”.
  • Now you should see a little “mover” window with arrow buttons to move the thing (ignore that).
  • More importantly, the player frame itself will have a gray overlay on it. You could now move this frame around (if you want) with your mouse.
  • If you look closely at the gray overlay, you’ll notice it has a tiny black block on the bottom and rightside, you can click & hold down those to change the scale of the playerframe.
  • You can also change the transparancy by using your scrollwheel while you hover your cursor over the gray overlay.
  • If you mess it up, click the Reset button in the MoveAnything window (right next to that Mover-checkbox you enabled)
  • Once you’ve tweaked it to your liking, disable the mover-checkbox in the MoveAnything window again and close MoveAnything.
  • You can make the settings permanent by logging out of the game.
  • You can of course repeat this process for other frames, like the Target, Focus and/or Party unit frames, and whatever else you might want to resize.

I think Easy Frames is what you are looking for.
Looks like the standard ones but the health bar is twice as wide and class colored.
