So, I had recruited a friend during the legacy Recruit-A-Friend rewards, and I had got up to 5 months with my progress. I wanted the Explorer’s Jungle Hopper mount so badly. Then the new RAF rewards track was introduced, and it promised that legacy recruited friends will continue to progress the legacy rewards track. GUESS WHAT?! IT DIDN’T! IT GOT TRANSFERRED TO THE NEW RAF REWARD SYSTEM AUTOMATICALLY!
After talking with around ten game masters through numerous tickets, I was informed that my recruited friend had not paid game time for over 3 DAYS, AND THAT IS THE REASON WHY I LOST MY PROGRESS TOWARDS THE MOUNT!? (And they told me there is no Game Master who could do anything about this.)
I asked my friend if this was true, and he said he had no money to pay for game time for a couple of days. THIS PISSES ME RIGHT OFF! IT IS SO UNFAIR! Is this really the way Blizzard wants to thank me for recruiting my friends to play the game?
I have done my part and recruited the friend as I was inspired by the rewards. I’m fine not making progress when my friend doesn’t pay for the game time, BUT DO NOT CHANGE THE PROGRESS TO A DIFFERENT ONE!
All of my work, time and money towards the mount reward (I really wanted) have gone down the drain!
I don’t want the new rewards, since my friend was recruited during the legacy rewards! I’ll recruit a new friend, if I want the new rewards!
PLEASE CHANGE THIS, AND GIVE ME BACK MY LEGACY REWARD PROGRESS! This wasn’t my fault! I should not be the one to suffer consequences from this.
In conclusion: If I have recruited a friend during the legacy rewards system, it should stay on that track, even if there was a payment gap. It’s unfair to change it to rewards I didn’t even want.
With all respect,
