Heart of Azeroth deleted through mail - Cannot be recovered according to GM

So I’ve contacted support about my Heart of Azeroth being missing on this character, possibly due to me pressing yes to the gear update and then not picking it up from the bags that are sent to me in the mail.

It is not in my bank, void storage or on mycharacter/bags. I cannot find it in mail or item restoration services. And GMs can’t help me, what am i supposed to do, just delete this character and start over?

This means I am bricked from content in the BFA expansion and cannot continue certain questlines that require it.

The GM in my support ticket tells me the item cannot be recovered, but I have read multiple messages from GMs on the forum telling players that they can be mailed or otherwise sent the item. Why am i being treated differently?

I can’t advise you much besides being more insistent on your ticket. Ask to escalate the issue.

Hi, just pitching in to say that im suffering the exact problem.

Got a gear upgrade when I got Dragonflight, didnt think about it much at the time, but it sent all my gear to the mail. Well one thing led to another and I stopped playing shortly after.

Now when returning I can see that I lost not only Heart of Azeroth, but also my beloved Shadowmourne and Ashjra’kamas, Shroud of Resolve.
Basicly my entire Timewalking “set” of gear. I have currently an open ticket with support and I can return when my ticket get handled. (Mail recovery is a no go, notItem restoration either)

Update: I got my ticket answered and the GM sent me the Heart of Azeroth and Shadowmourne. However for some reason he couldnt send me the Legendary Cloak.

I’m happy for you the problem was resolved. It gives me hope for my problem as well.

I needed to do a specific quest called “A Dying World” (to get the Heart) after I boosted my character to level 70 a week ago. But the game says I already done this quest but I can’t remember how and when.

I had the same issue, gear update, not picking it up in the mail, dc many months.
I havent the Heart of Azeroth anymore, I can’t progress in BFA story.
GM support tells me to inform dev’s team and… that’s it :pensive:
