Heart of Azeroth Level Boost for Alts

So for those of you who don’t know when you do the quest for Magni during the Nazjatar intro your HoA level is instantly boosted to 50 upon unlocking essences.

However in 8.2 this was 35. Which means if you did that questline before 8.3 and haven’t touched that alt since, said alt is now 15 HoA levels behind the bare minimum. Unless there’s some way around this that I don’t know of.

It’d be nice if Blizzard added a dialogue option to magni to let him boost your HoA the rest of the way if you were like me and did this questline early thinking there’d be a separate boost in the 8.3 chain.

Maybe try deleting the amulet?
nvm, just tried and you cant destroy it

Those 15 levels are like 20 minut of work realy, maybe even less… Nothing gamebreaking

Falls under the umbrella of ‘why do you have an alt. that you play so infrequently’?

Alt’s are not switchable mains, they’re intended to be created for ‘alternative purposes’… professions, maybe. If a character was created AS a switchable Main & that purpose no longer exists, question whether YOU want to keep the character.

It could be that a perceived sense of obligation is at play; if so… who/what is fuelling it? If it isn’t you, then retake control of your character & feel free to say “F*** it!”.

At the end of the day, whatever you do in WoW should be ‘cos YOU want to do it’, not out of misplaced obligation.

Do some of the 3k emissaries… No need to even grind.

I mostly do those IF they get me past the end of a Neck level…

I understand, but everyone knows - any remotely regular knows it by now that BfA is dead expansion regarding alts. If you levelled some at start of expansion, you might have few stronger ones, but that’s so-so and part stubbornness and self hatred masochism.

technicaly this is bs.

all im doin on my alts are WF and world bosses - and all of them are sitting on nearly 70 level of heart -_- so it means i play them like 1 hour every 3 weeks. (40 minutes WF + 3x7min world boss kills) .

if you dont play alts at all dont pretend that its blizzard fault.

now if you said that there is huge problem with account wide essences - sure - same like with idiotic unlock of cloaks etc , but not with ap.

same thing. You cannot claim that AP is fine and essences isn’t. It is same thing. You have essences when you play the game. You have Ap if you play the game. Not one and not other.

Ap gets 30% weekly catch up ,essences not :stuck_out_tongue:

Blizz should also mail you full 465 gear with bis corruption, free lvl 15 cloak, fully unlocked hoa and rep token to exalted so you can enjoy your raid/dungeon simulator spam from day 1. It might be shocking but people actualy used to play games. I dont know maybe i am old and in 2020 its all about get everthing on day 1 and kinda like sit there wondering what to do or something.

Okay boomer. Not even slightly what I’m asking for. I just want my older alts to be on par with newer alts without requiring extra grind.

Using an expression, in this case “boomer” without knowing what it stands for just make you look kinda silly. Just because its the monthly flavor of insult doesnt make it fit or even relevant everywhere… :smiley:
