Hi guys,

I’m creating a speed set druid and today managed to get my Azerite chest and shoulders with longstrider but the problem is this druid had a level 1 heart of Azeroth from when I dinged it in bfa and stopped playing it.

Now the question. Can I delete the item and redo a quest to get a level 50 one (as that’s the current option on a toon without it) or is there a way for me to get it to 50 straight away or am I really going to have to do dailies to farm it to 50 to get down to the longstrider option?

The Magni quest chain starting with Essential Empowerment is a must do for all toons that have low level Heart of Azeroth necks - as of patch 8.3 completing the chain will level your Heart of Azeroth neck straight up to lvl 50 ! This quest is offered after completing the necessary Nazjatar introductory quests - Magni will then appear in your Nazjatar base and offer you the Essential Empowerment quest.

To open Nazjatar you will need to do either The Wolf’s Offensive quest for Alliance or The Warchief’s Order for Horde - this will auto pop if you meet criteria. Next quest for both factions is Send in the Fleet.

Completing the Magni quest chain also opens up new quests in Nazjatar, including a small quest chain that unlocks world quests for the zone - unlocking WQs also opens up your bodyguard quests so you can level them & also makes you eligible for PVP event Battle for Nazjatar rewards. For Horde pick up Scouting the Pens in your base which leads you to a quest called Save A Friend at 38,42 that opens WQs. …for Alliance accept quest The Lost Shaman from Hunter Akana 39/53 in camp and complete the 2 follow up quests Elemental Fury and Rescue The Farseer. Final quest from Blademan Inowari in camp - A Tempered Blade - opens WQs.

Some seem to say if you got the neck before 8.3 you have to level it the slow way.

I started out at 8.1.5, and got the lv50 boost for it, so I don’t think it changed since then.

Thank you for the detailed reply! Really helpful! I will ask as I cannot find the quest in my log nor does magni in silithus have the quest do you know where I get the relevant quest? I also checked the guardian by the flight master in zulzadar?

I believe it’s in Nazjatar, you do couple of quests there and he will spawn and want to talk to you.
