without heart of azeroth, 228.3 ilvl: 44,480 hp
with heart of azeroth, 222.8 ilvl: 51,960 hp
some people are still abusing this in world pvp or whatever.
is this intended blizzard? heart of azeroth gives hp equivalent to 3 item slots.
It’s intended so that people could keep using it for old content, it just doesn’t work in the SL (And SL content) for “lore reasons”
I think the point of this was so that people could still use essences/HoA stuff in old content?
sure but why does it give you 7-8k more hp? that makes 0 sense.

It’s hardly abuse, if they intended for the effects to work everywhere -except- for SL.
Because we spent an entire Expansion buffing it up in several ways, and they likely didn’t wanna remove all that effort we put into it, so they let it work in old content, and disabled it for SL.

The item is also -very- useful when Solo’ing old raids, the essences are 
They clearly missed it.
Everything legendary or very strong from the past XPC’s has diminishing power or its simply deactivated.
