I literally logged out for an hour came back at 2am and noticed on my level 50 twink ive lost 19k health points and now the extra powers in the heart of azeroth has no effect unless ONLY in BFA areas, was this a sneaky update?

Actually i love it so powerful tbh im not that fussed but it took me by surprise guess i need to be careful taking on full instances now 
still powerful with self healing
Blizzard shows up with a bat and a clown mask to ruin said fun.

not really shocking they may have said you get to keep the heart of azeroth as a active artifact they never said it would be useful forever

Seems bizarre to break it now when it hasnât been relevant for 4 years (3 expansions ago) and has worked this whole time for old content.
Why change that after 4 years?.

Honestly seems a little silly to do that after four years. It isnât relevant in current content but older content still exists so it should be relevant there.

Though I was surprised they turned down the cooldown for my Turkey Transforming Gun from 10 minutes to 5 minutes.
If youâre ever AFK and come back to seeing yourself as a Turkey, it absolutely was me⌠
Clearly Blizz has no other pressing issues to work on so they finally had the time to change something so minor after neglecting it for four whole years.

Yes, this is a very new development.
Iâve been using Concentrated Flame as an instant cast ranged ability for years on alts that were all run through BFA when current.
Noticed this morning (it may have been the case on Saturday and Sunday) that it no longer works in Guo-Lai halls (The Hall of the Serpent) explicitly red-texting âYou are in the wrong zoneâ for Rei Lun.
Whatâs annoying about this is that it is a BFA phase although it is Pandaria.
It was also really useful for geting past Valithria Dreamwalker when soloing ICC on a class with no healing, havent tested it, but I bet that no longer works.
Blizzard are completely inept - dropping an undocumented change like this, while totally dragging their backsides on fixing the guild bank issue - which is apparently high priority. How something as trivial and inconsequential to the current expansion experience warrants a fix when they have bigger issues is total nonsense.

must be this because the only reason the locked covenant abilites to shadowlands was exactly they were using it in âcurrentâ content.
