It needs to be reworked. 5 min cd is for the mediocre powerup is just downright disrespectful. My suggestion would be:
Reduce cooldown to 1.5 minute, duration to 15 seconds and reduce global cooldown of changing into your affinity form by 0.5 sec.
Also remove Maul from the GCD.
i only use it as tank for balance convoke. i think this is the only purpose for this buff
It’s hardly a “mediocre” powerup, its strong as hell.
Depends on what you’re doing with it.
Owl-weaving as feral? HotW is pretty bad.
I used it for the Solo Heroic Plaguefall challenge, for Ickus, using it for… obviously, balance Convoke when in resto spec for the add phases. Aaaaaand having to wait 5 minutes between them, stalling.
So you think HOTW is 2x more powerful than wings since the cooldown is more than double of that of HoTW?
Or same power but lasts more than 2x longer …
give me a real scenario where hotw is useful outside of resto druid and use it for damage while no healing is needed or off tank damage stuff in raid.
and a 25+ key to support the healer is beyond a real scenario.
Balance use it to heal thru tricky bits in m+ too.
