The 2017 gift of the “Hearthstation” toy doesn’t appear to have been put in the Stolen Present this year (17 toons total and no drop). I thought, you know, it could be under the tree today, so I’d wait and see what’s going on. Long story short, it isn’t under the tree.
Is this a bug or am I missing something here?
I’d like to know this too. I missed it last year due to not knowing the present didn’t reset and now it looks like they’ve replaced it with the Greatfather Winter’s Hearthstone. BUT the present again didn’t reset this year. I had to log an alt to get the hearthstone, and tbh, had I not been looking for the Hearthstation, I would have lost this too.
What gives? They must have known this bug was in the game last year, yet they’ve not even fixed the original bug let alone put a means of getting the Hearthstation for those who missed it.
Is that not on the vendor now ? like all old xmas presents ?
I’m also interested in finding a way to still unlock this toy while the event is up. I actually did get the horde version last year (forgot to grab the alliance one in 2017), but haven’t had any luck getting my hands on an alliance version this year.

No, the toys of previous years generally become chance drops inside the “Stolen Gift” reward for the daily “You’re a mean one…” quest from Ironforge or Orgrimmar. As far as i know there is no vendor that sells the old rewards.

No worries, it was a fair assumption, as it does work that way for some of the other world events but unfortunately not for this one.
They moved the sweater onto the vendor, but nothing else it would seem. I’ve shoved in a ticket to ask what’s going on, but you know the wait times around this time of year, fingers crossed it gets answered before the event ends.
I’ll keep people posted what I hear back, if anything.
I know the footballs and things are in the toy shop in Dalaren old and new .
Cool, I’ve sent it in as a bug report.
I doubt the CS reps reading the support tickets can add things to the loot tables, but they might be able to get the report to the right developer sooner. (of course that is assuming we are correct that it -should- even be in there.)
Seeing as there are only 8 days left for the event, i’m a little skeptical we’ll see it added in time. Perhaps they’ll make it available year round in a toy store, auto-add it to the toy box of those who have picked up their presents under the tree this year, or have Great-father Winter send out an extra late present by ingame mail to those who brought him his stale gingerbread breakfast.

Who knows, we’ll see. I’m mainly ticketing in case the deal is something to do with a very, very, very low drop rate or perhaps a bug with the gifts under the tree (since we all know that’s happened before).
Hmph. I seriously hope this gets fixed before the end of the event. I really don’t want to wait another year because of a silly oversight
As the event is now coming to a close, and there have been no updates reported and (seemingly) no changes in the rewards from the daily quest, i think we can officially give up hope.
Let’s hope they make sure it’s added to the game in time for the next cycle. Happy new year folks.
