Me and i buddy of mine is trying to do Hellfire and we cant get past gorefiend. He uses touch of death, i we get sucked in and then he despawns. Help please
There is no possible help here for non-soloing ppls, except the trick described in comments for that boss on wowhead.
If you don’t dps him down fast, he’ll do the stomach move and it’s game over mostly at that point. I had a similar issue when I tried it with a friend while we were both lvl 110.
I can get by him solo on my Draenei Shaman who is lvl 120, she has enough dps to take him down before the problem move.
Just FYI - he NOT using that if soloing 
On 110lvl problem was kinda another.

Lol, I see. If that’s the case…
The OP could go in solo, kill gorefiend, then invite his friend back in after killing it. Problem solved? 
When i was doing HFC mythic with my friend at the start of BFA he told me to stay in that main corridor when there are paths into different chambers and bosses (right after that green golem boss), he killed gorefiend and we could continue normally.
Working as intended, I’m afraid. You either need to dps him down before he does that. Or solo it (when he doesn’t use that mechanic).
Another option for duo-ing this also was in wowhead comments - one must stay at the very entrance of HFC raid (inside ofc) to outrange mechanics, another one burst boss down.
Not sure regarding loots for the “stayed-at-entrance” in that case tho.
p.s. Just not to be salty, but I really don’t understand ppls who are at BfA lvlcap of 120 and likely ilvl 370+ who not soloing this encounter and HFC overall…
