Hello all, id love to have some strong opinions on those 2 classes since they are the most easy and fun for me, but with so many changes i don´t know the best choice for shadowlands, can u guys help me on good advice’s??? wish the best hunter bm or demon havoc…

I’ve played both a fair amount recently (mythic raiding, +25 keys etc) and I can tell you that right now that with BM you will get a lot more out of it damage-wise for a lot less effort. That being said, nothing is set in stone for Shadowlands so while on paper BM would be the better choice, that could all change- we simply do not know yet.
Hunter you are a dps only class so if you’re like me and enjoy a bit of tanking on the side you might find a pure dps class not as good. Demon hunter and BM hunter will always be levelling kings being able to pull larger packs with decent mobility and survivability. Both are good if you’re just wanting something easy and fun to play. I guess it comes down to if you’re wanting something ranged or mele and what feels good. Why not try both, we still have a few weeks to kill time before the release of SL.

yeah brother u most right, im trying to make a safe choice and not been kicked in some pug raid because the dps is not as good as other classes, both are different but easy rotation and some decent classes, im not a hardcore player since i didnt get the chance or getting beta, in trying to get all info i can get.

I’m in the same boat. I have my hunter ready to go but thought I fancied a change. I tried Prot paladin but couldn’t get into it so I picked up a DH and love it. Shane the more experienced players are saying it has issues. Id like to be able to do dungeons as a tank but not looking to raid as a tank
Vengeance is fine for both dungeons and raids. Havoc isn’t nearly as bad as some people claim, although ST dps is weak as things currently stand. If the covenants stay the same, I intend to pick Venthyr for the extra ST damage. I’ll continue to main DH because it’s way too much fun to give up.

Both are equally boring imo

BM Hunter is boring sure, but not DH, both DH specs are quite fun, Vengeance more than Havoc imo tho.
each to their own, i think there is 36 specs and for sure not all of them are going to be ideal for everyone. I personally intend to leave my Hunter at 50 as i find it boring at the moment
