Helm enchant with Eranog/diurna ring proc

With Vault of the Incarnates back on the menu it made me wonder about the Eranog and Broodkeeper Diurna rings that proc from fire damage.

In season 1 most classes used it as the embellishments back then basically dictated they were great. This time around there arent so many frostfire belts being used (yet), but the helm enchant (Incandescent essence) from season 3 for spellcast dps is a fire damage proc, so my question is does this proc the rings?

Wondered if anyone has tested it or outright know the answer

It works. The ring is bis for every single dps spec in the game and as such is most people’s second target for bulions after a cantrip weapon.

to my knowledge it doesnt as enhance i had like 200 hit procs and procced it very frequently doing alot of dmg also i got from the diurna ring loads of shields but for example the shadow priest in my guild had 1/10 of procs of those rings compared to me even tho having the ring and vakash equipped vakash even procced 200 times meanwhile the ring only procced 29 times for him and 209 times for me his head enchant had 280 procs so taking all this into account i would say it doesnt proc it somehow as enhance ofcourse i have loads of built in fire dmg and he doesnt so yeah there is that

It works but as both items are RPPM it’s not enough procs consistently enough to saturate the proc rate. You still use both items because it’s free damage / shields but they’re both better on specs that deal fire damage naturally.
