HELP! Anyone using "Can I mog it" in 10.1?

So the addon opens with a popup that says:
“We need to update our database. This will cause about 8 minutes of short lag spikes while we update the database.”

There are two options:

  • Okay: Pressing it makes the message “Pausing the database scan while we upgrade!” to appear. BUT the popup doesn’t disappear, with the buttons still being active. No idea whether it does anything or not, but no matter how long I wait, nothing changes.
  • Ask me later: This makes the popup go away, but the addon still doesn’t work.

So what gives? How is it supposed to work?

This is your first time installing it?

When it first opens it checks all your available mogs and adds this to a database. You should log onto all your characters to add all theirs too.
Once the database is populated it runs smoothly enough that you’d hardly notice it’s there.

I updated my CanIMogIt a few days ago and it has been running fine. I didn’t notice any new messages but I might have missed it if it was just in chat.

No, I was using it for years. I haven’t updated it since 10.0 so it didn’t have the gray/white items, but it worked until now.

Edit: After uninstalling every other AddOn, then reinstalling the old 10.0 version, then reinsalling the 10.1 version, now it did work.

This time, when clicking “Okay” I got a chat message to confirm that the DB ugrade is ongoing, then it finished after a few minutes as described. And the addon itself does work too.
