Help ! confused about ordering low crafted item

Hoping someone can clarify the system a bit more please.

I was trying to order an odd low item to fill in gaps on an alt I am currently maining on Argent Dawn. I don’t have all professions on that server at high level on alts or a lot of gold.

When placing a public order it only seems to offer 3 x levels,

306 Mostly lower than what I already have.
333 (Needs Pvp items from Warmode) Dont do pvp.
382 (Needs rare items from high group content) Too high for me.

Is it possible to get something around 360 level made ?

How does anyone know how much commission is expected ?

If I want a jewellery item made, do I need to buy the bits from the AH first ?

Caveat: (With a new dog, I am not playing as much so probably quite a bit behind). Still finishing the first part of the campaign to get WQ unlocked. Not done any dungeons as I am tank spec, and God help anyone if I try tanking lol).

You can buy most stuff on the ah at (I think) 343 ilevel for a pittance.

I’d suggest that as your first step before work orders.

Dragonflight Crafted Gear

Dragonflight crafted gear can be upgraded with BoP items, increasing the item level and quality of the gear. You can craft the gear yourself, or have someone else craft it for you with the new Work Order system. Normally crafted gear starts at item level 306, but can be improved all the way to item level 382!

Titan Training Matrix I can be rewarded from rares and world quests.

Titan Training Matrix II is a potential reward from the end boss of a Normal difficulty dungeon.

Titan Training Matrix III is also a potential reward from an end of dungeon boss, however this time only on Heroic difficulty.

Titan Training Matrix IV has a chance to drop from the end of dungeon boss in a Mythic dungeon. This will be the highest item level gear available prior to the launch of Season One, at 10 item levels higher than Mythic0 gear.

Spark of Ingenuity

  • Spark of Ingenuity gear ranges from item level 382-418.

Spark of Ingenuity is a powerful material used in crafted gear. It is a time-gated material, which is unlocked bi-weekly from the Fueling the Engine questline. Spark of Ingenuity crafted gear’s item level increases with the quality of the item, and an additional 10 item levels by including a Primal Infusion, and an additional 10 by using a Concentrated Primal Infusion instead.

Taking part in the elemental storms can reward you currency to buy gear as well and has it’s own upgrade system with sigils.

I think it’s 386 ilvl roughly when upgraded.

I did have a titan matrix once, couldn’t figure out how to get another :laughing: Looks like I need to focus on unlocking WQ.

There are a couple of events I should also look into. Joined the cooking pot one by accident once, it seemed like chaos at the time. The links help it make a bit more sense thanks :smiley:

I think certain rares drop those aswell
So better look it up
