Lightforged male also have the same reload animation, tho they don’t have the laugh that the normal ones do.
I have both and both are cool in their own way but I would always choose Night Elf over Void Elf if I had to. Had mine since BC and she’s awesome, some pretty good times in BG’s and levelling up with her. Plus they could definitely beat a female VE in an arm wrestling competition as female VE’s have the body of a 19 year old vegan eating once a day

Just look at me and the choice is simple.
Consider as well that Void elves will periodically turn into a purple shadow mid-combat. If that’s something you don’t gel with then they’re probably not the best pick.

Lightforged are the same model and re-use the same animations, so you’re good with those too. However, LF racials kind of suck.
I’d say, unironically, Draenei are actually kind of a decent choice for a Hunter. You get some minor boost to main stats (113 I believe), but the active is a HoT that heals your target for 20% of your HP. Since Hunters are kind of low on defensive cooldowns, having access to another heal is really nice. For this reason alone I’d rate Draenei as one of the top choices for Alliance, behind the Dwarves for obvious reasons.
Edit: Forgot to add, Gift of the Naaru is off the GCD, which makes it even better; just weave it in between abilities, can even go with an [@player] self-cast macro if you want minimal hassle and don’t plan on ever using it on anyone else
Night Elves get 1% Haste (or Crit, depending on time of day) and Shadowmeld is nice, but kind of “eh” for a Hunter. You already have access to Feign Death, Shadowmeld is not really that much of a boon as it would be on a class without FD/Invis/Vanish.
So if OP is set on playing the boring, basic choice of adding yet another Elf to the world, I’d go Void Elf over Night Elf. Thalassian model beats Kal’dorei any time of the day. Kal’dorei have weird proportions and animations, Thalassians are much nicer.

Night elf and it isn’t even close
I don’t wanna choose for you but I tend to like Velf/Belf better than Nelf, mainly due to their animations. But also they are more petite which I like too.
