i just wanted to sort my thoughts on how i can manage my wow time and i wanted to double check with all of you so that i don’t miss anything
from what i understand it goes like this: i need the maw to
a) boost myself in torghast with upgrades and
b) in the end get sockets for my items.
torghast then as follow up i need to grind soul ash for my legendary crafting -> higher areas there mean more soul ash.
if i do not care about sockets (i am not that cutting edge) and accept that soul ash comes in a bit slower (i can do 6s twice every week for example) i can forget about maw dailies and just do torghast with whatever gear i get from instances?
i am just trying to optimize my limited time at the moment BUT i do not want to find out that my thought process is flawed in 3 months
The problem is that we don’t know what we can get from layer 7-8 in regard to followers for the mission table or even other legos/rewards but then. I guess right now it’s ok to just get ash for upgrade and be done for the week especially if you already have your BiS legos farmed. On another hand, Maw’s daily quest takes like what 30-ish min? It’s not much of an effort to keep up with rep farm
If u dont care and u arent in rush, forget about dailies and aim for weeklies, there are 2 weekly quest that both award a lot of rep and stygia, during those days do also dailies so u have “one maw day” its not more than hour per week even if u are slow.
There is rather small difference between 6 and 8 layer, so if it more convenient for you to do 6s instead of 8s go ahead, u wont lose much and in the end it wont matter that much realy.
