Windows 10
will this this run wow price£475
thanks
This is a very very old system and should be avoided due to the age.
hi thanks for the reply can you recommended a build pc that will run wow budget around £600 thanks
From new prebuild systems it will be hard to find a really good value. Maybe a sale on Hades Canyon NUC would fit, but barely. Better to look for used, but recent hardware:
- Quad core Intel Skylake or newer (6000 series) or AMD Ryzen; at minimum Haswell (4000 series).
- 8-16GB RAM
- 512GB cheap but decent SATA SSD
- RX 470/570 or GTX 1060 or RX 480/580; GTX 1070 if budget allows it.
And you have a really good gaming setup.
what about this set up
Intel Core i5 9400F 4.1GHz turbo CPU
16GB DDR4 2400MHz Memory
120GB Solid State Drive
1TB Hard Drive
8GB Radeon RX 580 Graphics
300Mbps Built-in Wi-Fi
£650
Looks quite good. Does it have any customization options? Small SSD could get bigger there.
Yeah, Win 10 + WoW will pretty much not leave you much room left on the 120gb SSD drive. If possible the lowest usable space to go for these days is 256gb drive, bit more breathing room.
Although if WoW is going on the 1tb HDD then should be fine but with windows updates and new features. Even 120gb could be an issue sooner or later.
Mainboard willing, you can get a 240GB NVMe M510 for <£50… dunno how that stacks against the 120GB part you’d penciled in.
By way of comparison, my machine will soon be thusly specc’d:
Ryzen 5 3600
ROG Strix B450-F
16GB Ripjaws 3200
M510 240GB NVMe
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD
Sapphire Pulse RX Vega 56
