I have lvled this char in Darkmoon Faire and later Korrak’s revenge, but wanted to get the class mount before I do BfA because it’s a CAT and I love cats.
Probably this was really stupid because when I read a guide on Wowhead it’s a horrible grind , I have to do everything on Broken shore and also complete the class hall campain. My English isn’t so good, not sure I got it right.

How am I even going to make this? I can’t do any Legion dungeons, all that shows up are BfA ones. Sure, I can lvl to 120 and solo them, but…? I’m not getting any Legion quests either.
I have four class mounts and can’t remember having to do more than a short chain to get them. So please help, is the info on Wowhead correct and what is the smart thing to do?
Will there be any changes in Shadowlands that are known?
Depending on how good/well-geared you are, you don’t even need to get to 120 to solo the dungeons. Try going into one through the regular entrance and beat up some trash; if you have no problem, do the rest of the dungeon. If not, get a few more levels. There’s nothing that should prevent you from getting the class hall mount at 111+. Be sure to turn on “Trivial Quests” on your minimap if you can’t see Legion quests anymore.
If you are not well geared and wanna do a dungeon then ask a friend that has 120 to be boost you through. If, for some reason, you don’t have any friends avaialble I can assist you. I have nothing to do till patch anyway in the game.
Not only is it a cat, it’s a very nice one. It greets you when you summon it, and says goodbye when you dismount. Gets a bit much when you’re picking stuff up off the ground somewhere between small hops, since it’s odd to hear such pleasure at meeting again after 10 seconds, but there is no doubt it’s a Very Nice Mount.
According to the Wowhead link I saw, there is only one dungeon needed, Halls of Valor. You might get through Normal as Brewmaster, though perhaps Odin would be tricky?
But do post to this thread again if you want a boost when you get to that point in the Class chain. Cedrad has already offered, and I’d be happy to as well.
Thank you so much for the answers and special thanks to Cedrad and Gráinne for the sweet offer of boosting help. I never expected anything like that at the forum and am happily surprised!
I have few friends still playing Wow, most have quit over the years and it’s not as easy as before making new ones. Also I’m the type of person that wishes to be self sufficient, but I do think there are some I know in game that would help me out. If not, I will get back and gladly accept the friendly help. <3
The problem for me first hand isn’t the dungeons, it’s more being confused, overwhelmed, having no idea where to start and get it all done. The other mounts were no big deal to get, but then I lvled normally. I quite regret not doing so this time around as well…
Turning on the trivial quest option I had forgotten all about, that will probably help.
And Gráinne, your description of the vocal mount made me even more motivated to get it.
I’m sure there’s useful guides out there but at its most basic, getting the class hall mounts is just doing the main Legion story (each zone plus that falling Naaru quest from Khadgar), Class Hall quests and Broken Shore. None of the raids are required and you don’t need Exalted with Nightfallen I think, so I’m pretty sure you’ll get this done without much trouble.
in case you got lost like me, here’s what you have to do, in short:
-finish your class hall campaign first until you recruit your last follower and get your title (which will send you to the broken shore and then back to the hall).
-you then will be sent to quest to the broken shore (again), and as you follow the quests there you will complete the achievement “breaching the tomb”.
-once completed, you’ll get another quest on your class hall to get your class mount.
a couple tips: a friend can boost you through the dungeon as others have pointed out, and the mats required for one of the late quests of the campaign can be bought with sargeras blood in dalaran.
note that you need to follow the quests to get the achievement, those are not tasks you can do by yourself without the quest, as each part of the achievement is a quest. it’s very easy to get, after i got sent to the broken shore by a class hall quest i was able to complete the achievement in less than a day.
you do not need to unlock anything else but the last follower of your class hall campaign (thus obtaining your title too) and the achievement. you do not need to complete the legion areas, nor the naaru/illidan questline.
and click the “Spoiler” button to see the complete list of quests for the order hall.
Then when you have your title
I can understand that it really is annoying and tedious to do all this when you haven’t actually played Legion with that character, but that is what needs to be done.
Thank you for providing info, I think I’ll manage from here thanks to you guys.
Tomorrow patch day I’ll be busy elsewhere, but getting this mount will be a little side project when I’m sick of old gods. It’s really not as overwhelming as I thought, not like I have to do Legion all over again, and a talking cat is worth almost any grind.
Still - I hope in Shadowlands we don’t have to do all of this again to get our class mount. If Blizzard isn’t making it easier, I expect many will choose to lvl in Legion zones just to get the class mount and weapon transmogs. Not what they intended with Chromie time and free choise of any of the old zones.
