i always end up doing just a bit more damage than the tank per fight unless it’s trash,
i cant get set up and get enough time to cast starfires for energy to use starsurges because mechanics demanding me to move all the time warrior of elune does help with energy generation but it still isn’t enough i do my rotation as wowhead has instructed.
My issues are the worst in Theather of pain during this season i do keys from 5-9.
What should i do different?

In the absence of logs etc you’re only going to get generic advice.
- The biggest thing that gimps a casters damage is not casting enough / cancelling casts, you need to make it a priority to fix this. Logging fights and then sticking them into wow analyser is a good way to measure this (it’ll tell you how many casts were cancelled / uptime etc) and you can focus on improving it.
- Watch a lazer chicken stream M+ on twitch and see what they do differently to you.

With the absence of logs, as Dejaros said, I can only give very vague tips. One would be, if you have to move so much that you cannot cast a Starfire, you can still press your dots which will still give you a bit of AP.
The other thing you can do is pool AP for when heavy movement is about to happen, that way you have spenders to press on the move.
If you provide logs, I can dissect it better and give you detailed advice on wot you should be looking to do better. Video would also be exceptionally helpful for even more advice.
