About 2 weeks into the expac I switched my balance druid from Kyrian to Night Fae. I still don’t have the “Conflux of elements” conduit for it (it increases convoke damage).
I opened a ticket for it and the GM said “Heres a wowhead link / sources are not guaranteed etc” but the wowhead link says world bosses / purple calling boxes are the primary source of this. I’ve never seen this conduit on any ilevel. Not once. How is it even possible that I have pretty much every other conduit at 200 and above but am missing the signature ability of my covenant?
I was trying to convey this to the GM but hes too busy linking me wowhead articles I mentioned in the original ticket to dig deeper.
Is this some bug related to the covenant switch or have I genuinely just been unlucky?
Not sure which ones you’re supposed to get from your covenant, you’re supposed receive 1 of each type at 158 when you join a covenant of which 1 usually boosts your signature ability. Not sure if convoke has multiple, I know that condemn has 2 different conduits.
If you’ve killed every world boss so far in this covenant and the world boss is the source, it should’ve dropped already and the covenant switch might have bugged for you. I’ve done the following switches and never encountered this issue myself:
Venthyr -> necro -> venthyr (sham)
Kyrian -> NF (dh)
NF -> venthyr (rogue, but not 60 yet)
To me it sounds like the system determining covenant specific drops is bugged for you. Your last option would be to go to Ve’nari and see if that works. Are there any other covenant specific things bugged? Like mogs or raid weapons?
If nothing else works, you could try to leave -> rejoin, but that will take you a bit of extra effort.
Blizzard customer support is unfortunately much more standardized these days, the custom, amazing GMs that would take the time to investigate personal issues and actually try to help you clearly wasn’t efficient enough for Blizzard’s profit margins.
I would recommend that you just keep responding to your ticket asking for clarifications and stating that third party resources are unacceptable, eventually due to a need to maintain SLA times, they will actually read the ticket.
Every one of the top 400 druids on the first mythic boss has this conduit. I have every other conduit at at least 200ilevel and have never even seen this one?
