I’ve just got healbot so im a newbie.
how do i make it so when i click the side buttons on my mouse it uses a spell? on healbot its got left click, middle and right, then buttom 1-15, however when i use the buttons on the side of my mouse none of them work, anyway to set it to the buttons on the side of my mouse?

Addons never given you more HPS or what to do.
Addons is only a interface modifier or a + like Method Dungeon tool or REporter/REflex etc.
The best advice for a newbie as healer is to go in Interface → raid profile → Use raid Style Party frame and you can check everything if you want ( for me i just don’t check Keep group together and Display health text and some of profile “display only dispellable debuffs”)
With that you will be totally fine and just by pratice you will be better in term of healing.
ah i mean im a newbie to healbot, i’ve been a healer since day 1 of release haha
My side buttons are buttons 4 and 5 in healbot, with 4 being the one closer to your arm.
I would suggest putting in a spell in each in the options > spells menu and then testing them out on yourself
Healbot also have their own site in case you can find some experts there

Go into healbot setup and then spells and type in what you want in the box next to buttons, you can use alt too so can have two skills to each button.
All i have to say is…
You cant be serious, proposing to a self proclaimed new to healing to just do this instead of downloading and setting up an addon?
I hardly doubt you ever healed something above a normal raid or random HC dungeon lol

I guess you use mouse over macros then? Addons like healbot or clique is basically just an easier way to make mouse over macros since they do the macro work for you

Log can be too easely manipulated in term of HPS, if you don’t understand that i can redirect you to that videos if you don’t understand what mean HPS in Warcraft log and Healing meter :

In that log i did the football event too, also if you had any idea how healing works and how healing classes work you would see that my healing is my mastery so once more you have 0 idea of what you talk about.
Also since you check vids, find me a top tier healer that does not use healing addons. I would like to see this.

i log 100 in healing with DH tank and so that the reason why the addon Method Dungeon Tools is a must have for tank ?

Addons will never give you more hps for free, you will still need to do the work. For some people however, addons sure make things easier. OP has gotten the answer they needed about healbot. If they want to use mouse over macros instead i’m sure they will look that up.

Debuffs,Buffs,Defensives, HoT or my buffs on the raid/group but the most important is the speed you can cast different spells by only using mouse.

Yes but why they all use one?
Mostly pvp players dont use one because ITS FASTER to have binds for arena1 arena2 and so, but you cant bind 4 spells to a raid of 20 people when it comes to raiding.
Nop, but you cant make good logs either.
If you cant set up vuhdo, ask for help.I will help you myself if it comes to that point. Then you will see the difference. But its not the best for a 3v3-2v2 arena for example.

ive tried all them, none of them are working, ive got 12 buttons on the side
is it the razer naga? cause i didnt get clique to work with that one myself…
