Help with PvP talents (enha)

I really don’t know which path to follow, and I’m not really good at PvP, but it’s so frustrating, feel like I barely do any damage, I don’t know if it’s a lack of conquest gear, skill, good talents, the spec supposedly being mid for pvp right now + its complexity or all combined lmao

Also having a bit of trouble maintaining dps in PvE but that’s another story alltogether and just me not being used to the new rotation and there being just too many different build paths (I mostly played during Cata and MoP lol)

A few things you can do to improve are:

1. Gear wise: Make sure you have full PvP gear, also you would want to craft a pvp weapon with the Forged Gladiator’s Heraldry that you get for free, Ascendance embelishment paired with Writhing Armor Banding(boots/belt/bracer craftable) yield the best result so far.
2. Talents: Your builds seem to be either chaotic or too complicated. Try to focus on the Stormstrike Stormbringer spam with on use Ascendance, make sure you also take Shamanism and you should be better, remember in PvP simple spammy builds yield the best result.
3. Watch your own gameplay, the fastest way to learn what you could have done is analyse your own games and you will see yourself what you could have done.
4. Interface: keep it clean, i know maybe you like to watch some PvP streamers and they have 98% of their screen in bars and icons, timers paired with 30 sound horns every time a rogue applies a poison or something. I personally think it’s extremely bad for game enjoyment and learning to do that when you want to learn what’s happening around you and what you can do.
5. Positioning is 50% of the game. A good bait behind the pillar can easily get you a win, while going full metal jacket behind a pillar leaving your healer line of sight will make you loose.
6. CD priority, if you play with on use Ascendance, try to keep it for moments after your opponents have used their defensives.
7. Practice.

This. Your build is way too complicated for a beginner or returning player.

Take Doom Winds + Bloodlust (Shamanism PvP talent) and makro both together = one huge go every minute. Take Ascendance (proc is generally better and you don’t need to think about it) and just mash Stormstrike and Lightning Bolt. There is no need to make it more complicated with Primordial Wave and Elemental Blast.

Get used to playing with Totemic Projection (left talent tree) though. It’s mandatory, imo.

you can take Static Field Totem and teleport people behind pillars out of sight of their healer or vice versa and go for kills, it’s a bit buggy though, sometimes won’t work.

You get it after winning any PvP activity. You should get an item called ||[Artisan’s Consortium Advertisement] which if you use it gives Gathering All Gladiators!

The problem with the makro Cubitsu provided is that Bloodlust/Heroism modified by the Shamanism PvP talent will not auto-cast on a nearby friendly target. With his makro only you will benefit from the Bloodlust/Heroism effect. However, there are other makros that can deal with that (more or less).

For BGs & open world you can use:

/targetfriendplayer
/cast Heroism
/targetlastenemy

However, this makro doesn’t work in arenas (dunno why).

For arenas you can use:
