Hello, since shadowmeld doesnt drop combat in BGs (dont ask me why lolz) i have a macro for backstab when out of stealth and shadowstrike when in stealth, shadowmeld lets you use stealth skills but when i use shadowmeld + my bs/ss macro it doesnt work because shadowmeld only let you to use stealth skills but it doesnt switch bars, basically i want to do backstab/shadowstrike on the same button and also shadowstrike when melded. thanks

but that macro is for stealth, and i want to use shadowstrike while shadomeld with the same button as i do backstab/shadowstrike
yes, it does that. it does them all, it even puts you in stealth if its possible

out of stealth>backstab
in stealth>shadowstrike
shadowmeld>shadowstrike (shadowmeld doesnt switch bars but it lets you use stealth skills)
weird, when i tested it, it worked fine. try to remove cast stealth and see if that helsp.
but do you tested it in BGs? because the problem of all this is that shadowmeld doesnt drop combat in BGs/RBGs but it drops combat in arenas and outdoor PVP so this macro isnt needed for arenas or world PVP, its only needed for BGs because the genious devs of blizzard made this skill like that.
the macro have nothing to do with combat, it make you use shadowstrike if you are in a shadowmeld. doesn’t check for combat or not. i’ll go test it again and see why its not working for you

Yeah works fine, but i think i understnad where your confusion coming from. when you use shadowstrike from shadowmeld it doesn’t do the teleport behind target stuff, that only works with stealth. shadowmeld works as if you were using shadow dance or Subterfuge. so try it again but this time when you shadowmeld stand next to your target, and you’ll see how it will shadowstrike him.
also amde an updated version, if you use the macro while you are in shadowmeld but out of combat, it will put you in stealth instead and if you press it fast it will put you in stealth and then use the 25yrd teleport shadowstirke. or you can just use the old version.

ahhh man, you are totally right, sry for make you waste your time, shadowstrike doesnt teleport when you use shadowmeld, in fact in the tooltip the yard indicator dissapear, sry i come from classic and all of this is new to me becuase i quit in cataclysm, thank you anyways that macro is still good since it put you in stealth in case you have a small window to go out of combat
