I have just picked up Warlock. Something that is annoying me is that if I use Spell Lock on a target that is out of range of my Felhunter, the pet will run in and then use the ability when it’s in range, often resulting in nothing being interrupted.
Is there a way around this?

This happens so frequently that my group gets frustrated with my interrupt basically being useless.
I personally immediately press “follow” button to cancel spell lock if felhunter didn’t used it immediately, and then send it to attack the enemy again.
it is expected of you to learn to manually control your pet with Pet Move macros, making sure they’re in line of sight and in range to Spell lock. it’s not rocket science
and if you’re a scrub there’s also the option to spec Grimore of Sacrifice and you won’t have to worry about any of it at all.
No it isn’t. This kind of micro management is absurd, especially compared to other specs.
