I keep getting this download and an error which is displayed here:
“sorry you cant update World Of warcraft (midnight alpha) while world of warcraft is running.”
I tried delete cache etc. it does not work.
any clue or help would be appreciated.
CTRL+SHIFT+ESC (open Task manager)=> move to Details tab => scroll down => right click on all wow.exe => end task
do you actually have Alpha ?
or your Battle-net app is broken, YES, it doesn’t fix it by it self, you need to do it manually
You need to do only the battl-net app part, but still recommend do the 3-4 folders in WoW too

I dont mean any direspect. apologies if thats the way you have taken this.
I have already tested all technical fixes on my side (I have been working in IT for a very long time, so trust me, I have enough tech background to confidently say I have tried everything). I have also tested on other PCs.
Issue is with the account and only blizzard can fix it, it seems.
