Herbs and mining nodes

One of my legion remix alts cannot see herbs and mining nodes on the mini map.

In legion remix characters don’t learn (gathering) professions. Therefore it is not possible to en-/disable tracking in the Tracking menu above the mini map. However, it is possible to pick herbs and mine ores. There are even infinite research quests for this activity.

My other legion remix character can see the herbs and mining nodes without problem. But this one character cannot, which makes the goal of these quests cumbersome to complete. How can I enable the display of these nodes on the mini map?

Aren’t you given an elixir that allows you to track. I only activate it if I have the quest and remove the buff when I don’t.

When you do the first remix skip, you don’t get that item, and need to buy it for 5bronze

Thank you, that helped. Apparently I didn’t imbibe that elixir on that character. Now that I have, I can see the nodes. Thank you very much.
