Heritage armor question

I was just wondering about if I for example reach level 110 with my void elf and unlock the heritage armor and then if I make another void elf can I transmog the heritage armor to that void elf at level 1 or something or do I have to reach 110 to transmog the heritage gear on that character.

So basically I’m trying to ask, is there a lvl req. to transmog to the heritage gear or can I transmog it on to a lvl 1 or something.

It’s account wide, so acquire one time and it’s forever yours. It has no level requirement, although it’s appropriate race exclusive.

Ty very much
so you mean like I can use the heritage armor at level 1?

Level 20 to be particular.

oh yeah that what I meant

Also to add, when earned, even if you delete the character you earned your heritage armour on, you will still retain the armour and achievement for other characters that are the same race to use it.

Hey.
I have 2 questions:
I leveled a void elf and unlocked the heritage armor. Now I want to have another voidelf but I don’t want to level again. Can I boost the new one from level 20 and still apply the armor?

OR

If I have an alt that I have leveled slowly without boost and then change (racechange!) to void elf, can I apply it then?
It says somewhere it’s not possible either way, but then I read it is. I am confused.

Question 2: If I have an bloodelf leveled to 120 and unlocked the NEW (8.0.1) Non Allied Heritage armor, and I made a new bloodelf, can I boost the new one from level 1 and still get it? Same question basically, but difference is the Non-Allied -Armor.

Sidenote: I can see in both cases the Heritage armor already and apply it, at level 20 with void elf, level 6 blood elf.

I know there are like million posts, but after reading them all, I am even more confused.

Thank you!

@Soyeen: The unlocks are account wide. Once any specific heritage armour has been unlocked, it can be applied to ANY character of that race on that account. Only the unlock process itself has restrictions. Once it is done, boosts and other things no longer affect the situation. I hope this unconfused you! salutes

First: Thank you so much for answering this fast. And yes it helped. Just one follow up question: This works for both heritage armor, allied races and non-allied?

edit: i know you wrote “any race” but I just wanted to make sure.

@Soyeen: Once the relevant unlock has been achieved, yes.

You can use it on a void elf only so that means as early as starting lvl 20.

Thank you!

I know. But I have a bloodelf too with level 6. I already mogged it. I just wanted to know if it will stay that way, after I boosted it.

This helped so much @Trelw - Thank you!

Merry XMas - since I hope I wont be using the forum before next year!
