Heritage Armours

Never thought I’d hear myself saying this, but the Orc set looks so much better than the human one.
We really didn’t need another Stormwind Guard rehash. Blizz should have remade the Grand Marshall set. By far the most Iconic set ingame for humans.

I think the orc one looks bland, the human one is predictable but still cool I guess.

My human paladin and warrior will still rock the epic warfront plate anyway

Noooo. It shouldn’t be armor at all.
Clothing. Cool, well designed clothing with lots of 3D bits.
That would’ve been an enrichment for everybody.

My human is a hunter from Tanaris/Uldum (in roleplay), so ill doubt ill use the heritage armor imo.

But still looks cool i guess.

You could’ve stopped there tbh.
Hunters are not ranged knights. They’re just not. Those are called ‘warriors’.
This is a set made for warriors and warriors alone. It’s discriminating.

They both look just meh tbh.

They’re both what I was expecting, a Footman and a Grunt, but still meh.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s awesome heritage armors are back, but these two just don’t do it for me. I’ll still collect them, but will probably never use them.

I wish they gave the Orc one antlers instead of horns, it reminds me of the old depiction of Blackhand a lot.

The human one looks terrible.

They should’ve just remastered the replicas from vanilla for both factions.

Both look great!

Stormwind Soldier and Horde Grunt. It’s all I could have asked for.

i mean look at all the other heritage armors. they resemble what each race’s guards wear, kinda like the Silvermoon one, or the Gnome one (based around tinkers), or the Nightborne one. all resembling guard/warrior attire.

the reason why its dissapointing might be because we see Stormwind human and orc attire everywhere, to the point it gets boring. Anything alliance or horde related is usually centered around these two.

this is why i roleplay a wastewonder. something new and unique from the stormwind humans.

Oh yes, definitely.
I was hoping they’d finally do something different because we’ve seen this stuff enough already.

I don’t even roleplay a Stormwind human. As long as that city is in the state its in, I don’t want any part of it. If they update it and make it more on a Boralus type level of size and detail, then I’ll proudly call myself a ‘fart’ (stormwind, get it… :face_with_peeking_eye: )

You’re right, orc looks very bland, and that purple metalic colour is very tiresome

I am sick and tired of grunt and guard transmogs. Blizzard needs new ideas.

The game doesn’t have any good ones, that have good graphics. The only good ones are limited Elite gladiator sets from BFA, that are removed from the game  Now they fixed this problem in a nice way.

Can’t really see my mage and warlock wearing that.

The sets are nice, but once again very melee. Not sure why they don’t wanna make caster sets alongside the melee ones. The casters are quite iconic for the races too.

They are pretty meh. For orcs this is a bad mix of the Orgrimmar grunt set mixed with some elements of the Mag’har set. But the Mag’har is much better imo.

The human on is terribad. Might look ok on male body but it still feels like a HD SW guard set.

Far from the epicness of other sets. Nothing tops the DID one for me though. Gnome is close.

Human set without the helmet is a massive hit for me. I can’t wait to use it.

I was afraid they were going to go with the old Stormwind Guard aesthetic and not something more original like clothing. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

The orc one is a downgraded Mag’Har set.

A resounding “meh” from me.

Yeah, very disappointed in it but I expected it.
