the reason you dont see many tanks / healers in lfg is that most of them form premades with overgeared players to spam weekly VP cap super fast.

in general in classic not playing premade is automaticly putting yourself in eviroment with very undergeared bad players.

there is a reason even at end of wolk people were doing daily hof premades to avoid carrying terrible players.

so th lesson is - make premade for hc dungeons spam :slight_smile:

The reason people are resorting to these methods described in the first post is probably because they’re after that one item that doesn’t want to drop. Atleast in many cases. If you want to do anything about the problem, introducing something like Scourgestones would be a good first step, imo. I know you don’t necessarily need full pre raid bis to start progressing heroic raid bosses, but it feels kinda awkward still running dungeons for your pre raid bis at that point of the phase. Only because you’re unlucky enough to not have that item drop even once after 20+ kills.

To me it’s not important if you decide to call it bad luck protection or faster gear acquisition. I do think faster gear acquisition (or even more reliable ways of gearing up) makes sense though, since Blizzard decided to roll with faster phase cycles (which I am personally against as an idea, btw).

If a dps leave, they are replaced within seconds, that is no big deal. But when tanks and healers do the dame it gets annyoing. I once had a grim batol group where 4/5 left after the first boss. Luckily I was the tank there and quickly got 4 new members to finish the dungeon smoothly but imagine that happening to a dps.

if 4 people leaves blizz seems to put you on some turbo priroity list in the q line and you get a group almost instantly no matter what role you playing

it happened to me multi times that the whole group disbanded after first or second boss and i got a new group almost instantly (as a dps)

DPS spot gets replaced in no time, when a tank does it, then it’s bad for all members. Anyway I can’t blame people that only seek 1 item to bother with a wipe fiesta considering how bad pug players are.

Then maybe, just maybe those players should consider I dunno make their own groups beforehand?

But seriously if as you said if PuG players are bad then the one that bailed after one boss had also statistically high chance of being a “bad player”.

Had an unpleasant accident since my guild had to split our dungeon groups into two since there were too many DPS-es. I ended up with 3 DPS from my guild and we got a random tank (had to wait 10 minutes in the queue). And god that was a mess. Before I even zoned in the tank (Prot Paladin) already rushed the first pack and by the time the zone loaded for me was already at half HP. Even going full abandon mode ended with him dead but we pulled through though I ended at sub 20% MP. Before I could even type “oom” they already rushed a second group and to make matters worse pulled the optional flayers pack. That time we all died. Already being flamed on. But yeah with much pain we made it to the boss. And the Tank from full HP died to the one shot mechanic. Ended up being rough mana got real tight because of having to dispell the healing debuff. But we killed the boss mostly without the tank. Fun part after dying to a sure kill mechanic the tank wanted to kick me for being a bad healer. We didn’t make much further as the tank proceeded to ignore Quake Mechanics of stone giants and then quit on us.

Now the interesting part… I’ve never seen the tank using any of their defensive cooldowns. They also never healed themselves using Word of Glory something that’s very potent on Prot Paladins due to their talent spread. But from their comments it was never their fault. And that’s sadly a sentiment shared by many, many players leading to our pretty toxic community.

Done overall 30+ kills, no bracers, had to race with PvP bracers. It’s genuinely frustrating that the only bracer option has such a drop rate.

That’s pretty similar situation to everyone, for whatever reason they put very few bracers in heroics, and to make matters worse it’s also one of the few slots you can’t get with either justice or valor either. For bears also the only real option are the bracers from Walden in sfk. Technically there are also ones from first boss in hoo, but those have literally the worst possible stats.

this is a nonsense post; the auto queue will find you new people almost instantly soooooo whats the problem? Imo ur making a problem were there is non.
Also I really dont mind joining in a dungeon that is half way or close to done when im trying to cap Valor actually kinda nice speeds things up!

Blizzard not fixing the Valor issue and me having multiple toons that didnt get a the valor cap despite running enough dungeons now THAT is a problem! Really since they havent even tried to retro-actively give people back the Valor!
