Heroic Level Azeroth?

Looking at the 12.07 patch, there seems be an option to change the zone’s difficulty. I’m thinking this can be an experiment to later turn on a heroic level Azeroth and suddenly, the max level content is not 4-5 zones, it’s the all of Azeroth! That would be cool!

Well, if first blizz test it. If every going well, then would after this.
Yes I did ago Heroic mode in Remix Legion.

Hahah great joke

Given how blizzard’s everything scaling has been all kinda messy spaghetti since it’s inception…

I hold reserved expectations.

Heroic like it was in lemix?

Presumably

Has it been tested if tanks will rule Heroic-tier versions of those zones?

You can go test on the PTR, not something I enjoy myself

Unlock the Heroic World Tier by gathering a group to defeat the bases World Boss Nexus-Captain Leth’ir.

  • You will need to exit the map and use the tier entrance to change to heroic after completing the achievement.
  • Explore the world of Naigtal with added difficulty and dangers.

I doubt thats the intent

You never know, things have been expanded on in WoW numerous times… like Timewalking.

If it were an optional mode to sync everything to top level, that would be a nice addition. I would flip in and out of that instead of XP locking.

If it’s remix hc tier then I have no interest.

true it would be a good idea but i cant see blizz splitting their playerbase across the entire map vs a few select ones for the expac. even in classic there was only a few relevant one for max level

They could retain the same game world between normal and HC so it ain’t split like war mode.

The game’s already somewhat there with level and ilvl scaling.

Mythic tracked gear from open world content, I think Blizzard read most of my posts about time-gating Mythic gear for solo players.

The beginning of the season should be for the players who engage in high-end group content, and towards the end of the season should be for solo players.

Win-Win.

Now they just need to add Solo Q for M+ to the game.

They should also cap Mythic Plus at +10.

Make +3 the new +2, +6 the new +3, +9 the new +4, +12 the new +5 and so on.

Why do you want them to cap M+ levels?

Under their system, their M+10 would be equivalent to current M+27, so they cap it at something beyond what is achievable by players. In essence, their hard cap does not limit players (as of now).

I support his idea of consolidation, since it would eliminate a lot of “dead” key ranges that only serve to split the playerbase.

-=EDIT=-
I also prefer the idea of “You completed the game, congrats, you can now try to do it with a better time” than “You completed this difficulty, try +1 with no limit”

You forgot heroic world only works if you have something which increasing player power to compensate rather than making it annoying. What we don’t want is another borrowed power again for this type of stuff.

Blizzard does not have any good track record to make things work like this. I seriously hope this will not become true.

Didn’t they pretty much try to do this in TWW? That Heroic was meant to be M0. I’m not sure it will ever succeed. 10 is enough to get a mythic piece in your vault, the rest is pretty much a flex, no?

100% not interested in this.
Can go play Diablo if I want difficulty levels in Open World.

Yes and no. What happened in TWW is the elimination of the 9 lowest key difficulties, and then they continued having pretty much 1-to-1 correspondence:
old +20 → new +11
old +21 → new +12
old +22 → new +13
old +23 → new +14
etc. but without a hard cap

What Canabal proposes is elimination of intermediate difficulties:
new +2 → eliminated
new +3 → Cannabal’s +2
new +4 → eliminated
new +5 → eliminated
new +6 → Cannabal’s +3
etc. up to
new +27 → Cannabal’s +10 which would become a hard cap, no difficluty above it would exist.

Right now the highest completed key is +24, which would correspond to +9 in Canabal’s system. So players would not have reached the absolute highest difficulty offered. You could say that it would have been similar to Blizzard saying players right now: “You will not be able to select a key difficulty above +27” when no player has even reached 26 or 25 with absolute highest item levels available.
