So last night I wanted to do some heroic dungeons on my lvl 80 main, didn’t do a single one yet. I understand that there are a lot premade groups at the moment, so expected solo to obviously take some time to get in, but last night I was in queue for 35 mins… then i dc’d, then again in queue for 30+ mins and I decided to go to bed. Today in queue for 25 mins… nothing and later in queue for 35 mins and I decided to log out. It says “estimated wait time 3mins or 5mins” but I can’t seem to get into a heroic dungeon.

not surprising.
most good tank and healers play with their guilds.
and a lot of alts are being still leveled.
add to this tanking changes after which a lot of people given up on tanking in endgame.

And to be sure you queued as dps right?
That’s to be expected. People were leveling in normals with dps queue times of 2-5 minutes, because other ppl did not care to tank or heal.
Now in HCs people do not want to queue as heal or tank because its not that easy, and wait in queue as dps.
So you can freely choose to wait 30 mins as dps, OR spend those 15 minutes to setup tank/heal specs and insta join. It’s the best time to do so, since u do not need gear for it.
It’s near instant as healer and always instant as tank. Half the time I check there is a Call to Arms bonus for healers and tanks.
It’s the same as always, maybe a little worse right now: there are far, far more people who only want to dps, and tanks and healers can be picky. I did a bunch of HCs random as a healer and it went fine, but as soon as friends come on, I’ll queue with people I know.
Seems like more people have this problem of just not getting into heroic dungeons. It might be a class thing or a role thing, I don’t know. For me as a solo level 80 shadow priest the queue hasn’t come up once… been trying since last night, very annoying.
