when I look at bloodmallet it says necolord is at the top but when I simc my char with the soulbinds as u can do on raidbots it says its KORAYN from night fae.
but on bloodmallet its like nr 5 down the list…
I hope u can help me out and Bloodmallet is simc at rank 24 reown so its really hard to see what to trust
I’ve never ever seen necrolord for havoc being suggest anywhere, or seen any havoc play it.
Your choice lies in content you want to prioritize.
If you want to do pvp at all your only real choice is NF.
For raiding both NF and Venthyr are close to eachother.
For only M+ Kyrian would be better for aoe capabilities.
NF is best all-arounder I would say and its also what I play.
Do you mean like the list of simed damage per soulbind?
That is irrelevant since they are all vmkind of close.
You don’t want to go necrolord because the covenant ability is just clunky at best.
All other abilities are way more fun to use.
Not fun but …you know what they just did after using them(dmg mostly) While necrolord is as bland and boring as it could possibly be tied together with a lot of unnecessary work to trigger the benefits.
Kyrian= Best choice for m+ since you get a lot of extra aoe out of it.
Venthyr= Best choice for raiding since its going to give you the most st dmg.
Night Fae= Best choice for PvP can crit for over 20k and gives extra mobility.
Necrolord: aboslute trash and the worst for every situation do not pick it !!
Dont make your choice in regards of the soulbinds the covenant ability is going to be way more important.
It Sims the highest because it has the best soulbind tree. But i looked at bloodmallet and it is like what 30 dps? The 0.05 % or what ever it is, is not worth giving up on one of the other 3 way better abilities.
Dont be fooled by Sims they only tell half the story.
In a real combat thats maybe 10 dps more since mechanics and stuff. Or maybe -50 because you could line up the damage with the encounter specifics.
Just pick what you enjoy most even if that is necrolord but who am i kidding.
Edit:
Let me reiterate on the fact that numberwise necrolord is strong.
But the ability feels bad to use.
Is annoying to use.
Straight up “bugs out” and needs a few moments between spawning the demon and letting Hits register.
An overall uninspired mess and the pick rate hopefully tells blizzard what everybody told them in beta already.
