Hey going back to Shadowlands/covenants for tmogs, fastest way to get renown and anima in current expansion

like the title says. can u get to 80 max renown in a couple of days? wonder if any of u did this in DF or TWW

If you got to max renown before (on any covenant) then you can buy a renown 60 item from the vendor near the flight master in Oribos. If not you have to start at renown 1.

I’m not sure what’s the fastest but if you’re high level I guess you can zerg all the campaigns and then do weeklies if that’s not enough (it’s definitely enough if you start at 60).

will doing raids and dungeons give me exp if im out of world quests

They should. You can also just run torghast level 12 for it.

Running the raids will maximize your anima and covenant reputation (besides running the campaign quests of course) per hour and also will give you some reputation towards some of the “side factions” related to those raids.
This is what I did and I quiet enjoyed that. Not having played Shadowlands this was really interesting and the story was actually compelling and much more interesting than TWW (at least for me).
I grinded all 4 covenants on 4 characters.

However, the reputation for all numerous side factions appeared to be a mindless grind and I quickly gave up on that.
What I did however was the rather mild grind for this synthesis thing which allows you to create your own pets and mounts. That actually did not take so much time and I only did as much as required for the mounts. I really liked at least two of the mounts so before you commit to the grind check out how they look and if you like them enough.

Figuring out which quests to run to progress the campaign and e.g. get to Kothia and Zereth Mortis and also how to get riding/flying enabled the quickest was not trivial though (at least for me).

And one boss in the Sanktum of Domination Raid has a DPS check which will stun lock you if not passed. i was not able to run that on mythic difficulty with my 610 feral druid, which is my preferred legacy solo raider (move speed, AOE cleave with no target required). I later did this Boss with my BM Hunter, Prot Warrior and BM Monk. Sylvanas also sucks, you probably want to check a guide for that fight. And also one for the jailor in the Sepulcher. Be prepared for some initial frustration.

Do you mean Tarragrue? You can immune it with the anima power.

No, it is the one torturing - I believe - Garrosh. He fears you forever if you do not bring him down quickly enough.

That got changed in 11.0.5. You interrupt his stunlock with just snapping one chain instead of all 3. The damage ramp may still go out however.
