Guys, I have just discovered this, and I have a feeling I might have world first, but there is a hidden achievement (feat of strength) available to demon hunters:

Interdimensional Glider

Have you ever noticed how Maldraxus really isnt that far north of Bastion? Well, I certainly did, so it occurred to me I might be able to bridge the gap between the zones.

First attempt, I was some way short, but I thought I could get further if I had sufficient elevation, so after a few hours of attempts I finally nailed it.

-Firstly, find the northmost point of bastion.

-Then double jump off northwards, and at peak height, use rocket boots, and hope it backfires by shooting you into the air. Yes, you need to be an engineer, and yes, the rng sucks as this wont usually happen and you will just fall to your death.

-When you do get this to happen, right at the peak of your rocket jump (you might need several attempts to get a feel for this), activate your gnomish well. If you again have rng on your side and get at least 5 successful useful before it goes on CD, you are now high enough at this point.

  • Then you need to glide, and use fel rush on CD, immediately cancelling into glide when the charge finishes.

Rinse repeat for about 70 seconds, and now you will touch down just at the outskirts of Maldraxus, and you will get the achieve.

That’s actually cool and grats to you but I’d never have the patience to go through all that though.

I would have never thought of even attempting that or thinking of it.

Do you reckon there is any other way of making it happen as a non engineer though? Maybe some clever minds can help work it out here on the forums.

Is this like, an actual ingame achievement you gain or you’re just calling it a feat of strength? because I’m checking your achievements and I see none of this sort, perhaps the armory didn’t update yet?

Also if it is a new discovery then well, awesome job!

I may be mistaken, but I think there is a toy like Avina’s feather from WoD. Coming to think of it, getting that would have removed the rng and engineering dependence, which is probably what Blizz actually had in mind.

@ Hinata (I cannot add a separate reply) Just checked myself, not showing on my armoury. It did actually appear as a feat of strength on my character in game, but as its hidden I don’t think this was searchable before acquiring it. Maybe this has something to do with it not appearing on armoury?

OP please provide a screenshot, otherwise this is just stupid trolling and he is trying to get people to waste his time. It’s the weekend after all and kids are looking for things to do including being “funny” on the forum.
He writes that it took him a couple of tries but yet, why would you keep trying it over and over again since he didn’t know it’s an achievement? If he was just wondering if it’s possible he would have given up after he failed the first time. Just sounds a bit like he wants us to keep trying for hours so please give us an achievement.
From what I know Wowhead mines the achievements so all of them should be there even if nobody has obtained it yet which again makes it weird we cannot find this anywhere.

Even if it’s bait i like the post, who would know how to get Lucid Nightmare yet people found out loong riddle and here we have it in our collection :slight_smile: i really love such WoW mysteries, it is needed in any quantity :wink:

Guys, you are being very cynical. Were I being cynical, I might say you are jealous. Honestly, I was so focussed on the tight execution that I wasn’t screenshotting as I was doing it.
